  1. According to one of the kits coming out .
  2. You actual read what he wrote? Don't you know you only do that if you're high on something or drunk off your ass. I'm use to the "emo-type" protagonists so, meh.
  3. Doesn't look like it.
  4. It doesn't appear so. I appears the UN (or at least the pre-UN Wars version) existed prior to 1999. NATO may have also had existed as well.
  5. The proper romanizations of the new Meisters.
  6. When episode 1 re-airs, perhaps a polished translation will come with it.
  7. Depends on the era, depends on the mission.
  8. Full size pic courtesy of Mania.com: (link) Here are someof RDM's comments: Should be in stores this week. Some thoughts (spoilers)
  9. 11. Poll Spamming. Please do not post several polls at once. If there are already two polls visible and underway in a forum, please wait until they fall off the first page before making a new one. Please read the rules: http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=23944
  10. It could have been an EMP-type weapon.
  11. Yes, there are a few problems with even the good subbed 'Deculture Edition" version of episode 1. As for the ships, it's hard to figure out the numbering as they list the M7 fleet as the 7th fleet, M-Frontier as the 25th fleet and M-Galaxy as the 21st fleet. This could be in reference to the New-Macross class numbers as M7's was 07, M-Frontier's was 25, and M-Galaxy's was 21 and they all left in 2012. The numbering just feels very off and may only be representative in-nature and not the true numbers. One other difference is that the M-Frontier fleet uses the "pill" ships connected to the central city while M7 had the central City-ship with more class-specific ships surrounding it with the Milky Road connecting everything. Considering that M7's population only ranged in the hundreds of thousands while M-Frontier ranges in the millions, it may be that M-Frontier's fleet consists of more cities and living space as opposed to recreation and industrial-oriented ships. M-Frontier may be more of a people mover an not a self-sustaining fleet like M7 (not to say that M-Frontier may not have those facilities, but they may have significantly less than M7).
  12. I'm bothered by this as well. The show has hit the half-way point in the season and I'm not too clear about where this show is going. I'm getting a feeling for the characters but I'm not feeling a main plot for this series. Maybe something will show by the end of the season but I really want to know what they want to do this season; what they want to accomplish before they move onto the next season.

    PS2 Macross

I don't think those 4 made it to the final game IIRC.
  14. The Ghost in MF probably does not use the same programming that the Ghost X-9 uses. While the design structure of the Ghost X-9 may have been a proven choice, the programming behind it may have been experimental and deemed too experimental for mass production. It very well could be based on the Sound Jamming system from VF-X 2. Unfortunately, we are still over 3 months away from knowing. The individual bugs didn't seem to give off that jamming while the unknown ship did.
  15. Probably not. It may have the same influence that "Star Mirage" had on the VF-5000. Unofficially added for the game. The jury is still out on that one.
  16. The VF-X 2 Visual Guide lists only the VF-22 as the model used.
  17. I'm sure the Ghosts can have their systems bumped up in protection, it was just a case of "we didn't know". Odd though, the interference was only close to the unknown ship. The bugs seem to use decoys against the missiles. So maybe the electronic interference was localized to just the ship and not the bugs.
  18. -I think you should watch it again because it is very clear about Isamu surviving or not. -They were fighting rogue Zentradi. -The Ghost X-9 only appears in M+. However its design legacy is found in Macross Frontier and VF-X 2. -Have you considered watching the movie version of M+? You should if you want more M+. Although it is essentially the same product. Please use spoiler tags instead of putting in long breaks. And is question really belongs in the Newbie thread-> http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=140
  19. The VF-19A was derived from the YF-19 prototype. The model for the VF-22 was indeed the same one used in M7, only colored in more YF-21 colors....kinda (I believe they used a darker color blue of the "Max" paint scheme).
  20. We knew you could do it. Issue resolved. Topic closed.
  21. Yes. The variable cross section of the wings was experimental and never meant to be part of the Super Nova competition's final submission. Both companies probably tested many things on both the YF-19 and YF-21 which would never make it to mass production due to cost and implementation issues.
  22. The canting of the wings in high-speed mode and the expanding/contracting cross-section are 2 different things.
  23. Next episode listings. Take it as you will, maybe with a grain of salt. And now the Thrones (names need to be Romanized properly so those are not the correct spellings)
  24. Anybody gonna bet that the nuke won't work?
