Couple notes: -Keyhole TV and TVU Player neat little programs for watching Japanese (or international) programming streamed live. Yes, LIVE. You can watch your favorite anime (like Macross Frontier), drama, or variety show as it airs in Japan (or in some other country). A few things though, video and audio can be choppy depending on your net connection (faster is better) and whoever is streaming the video. These factors are things we, as users, may not have much control over. If you want quality and HD goodness, wait for the raws to show up. wolfx has started a thread for Keyhole TV here. Chances of a MF game? Low. Chances of seeing MF mecha in a multi-mech game like A.C.E? High. I really don't see a specific game in MF's future except for in those multi-mecha games.

Remake this. Remake that. Next thing you know, there will be another remake of An Affair to Remember/Love Affair. It's only been 14 years since the last one.

Because there's no other time for it among the more higher rated programming (dramas, news magazines, family-oriented programming). It's either in the morning or late night. The system is the same as most other countries. You want your best programming on to attract the most viewers. Keyhole TV is based on who is running the feed, which depends on the broadcaster. Anime is usually aired and then repeated on other stations (hence why we use terminology like "MBS broadcast" and "TBS broadcast"). Not everyone in Japan watches shows at the exact same time on the exact same day (like people in remote areas). Normally, re-broadcasts are done within a few days of the original broadcast. MF airs on MBS and CNBC first, then TBS, TBC and SBS the following day and then other areas throughout the weekend.

I think some people need to separate fiction from reality. Seriously.

It's probably muzzle flash from the gunpod. The spread on the gunpod rounds really does correspond to how his VF was hit.

DVD sales are very important because it represents hard sales numbers. We should be pleased that Vol. 1 Blu-Ray is currently #17 on Amazon Japan's Top 100 DVD best sellers (while Code Gease R2 vol. 1 Blu-Ray is 99). Ratings may not break the 2.0% mark much since the kids are back in school. Things might pick up in summer.

People are entitled to their own opinion so I won't force anybody to say anything. If they wish to speak, I shall leave that to them. And BTW, I gave this episode a positive mark just so you know what I voted. Now that's not to say I won't like or dislike this series as a whole when all is said and done.

I am not sure those shots were from the beam cannons. The spread of rounds from Alto's gunpod corresponds to him being hit and readjusting his flight path. His wing was hit and that knocked him slightly off. Alto was still firing as his wing was hit so I'm not sure any shots came from the beam cannons.
