That's perfectly fine. As an example, I'd upgrade to an iPhone or some other smart phone except I fail to justify the price for stuff I might hardly use.

I believe Bluetooth is hardware dependent, i.e. unless you have a Bluetooth chip that supports Bluetooth 2.0 or higher, you can't upgrade via firmware or via software to Bluetooth 2.x.

I don't think there's anything special about Battle 25's gunship. I'm sure MQ's cannon could do the same but they get much more functionality by changing modes. M7's gunship is probably no different. M7 never had a Macross Quarter to guide the targets into the gunship's cone of fire, which is probably why they ended up transforming Battle 7.

Zack Snyder is reportedly pushing the studio to let him clock the movie near the 3-hour mark. I've heard they want him to drop it down closer to the 2.5 hour mark. We'll see though.

No one has started, unfortunately. DVD versions really have no time frame since most people already have the original broadcasts. Most groups will not pick up DVD versions unless there is a push for it. It could be months before someone even decides to put out the DVD/Blu-Ray. Most groups focus on what's being broadcast now. Sorry.

Kawamori can make whatever he wants stand straight on paper, but the folks at Bandai's Gunpla unit have to make it stand up straight, for real. A little epoxy, sanding, modding and it will look fine.

No Bandai model looks 100% like the lineart they get. When you compare the animation lineart to the model lineart of any MG Gunpla, you'll see what I mean. Heck, even Gundam 00's animation lineart varies from the HG/NG model lineart
