All they have is a script/screenplay-writer. They still need a director and producer to move this project in any direction (more importantly, a director). A movie can get a screenplay but sit in development hell for generations unless a director is hired. And even that's not a guarantee. So 2010 is a "best guess" estimate, provided they can find someone to helm this project by the end of the year.

It's a fake. If it appeared this morning (Friday morning), then it's not from [gg]. [gg] does not (normally) sub from the MBS broadcast. They have consistently used the TBS broadcast which won't have been available until this afternoon . It wasn't even from their tracker.

The Logitech 540s would have been my choice. "Matrix Mode" basically takes 2-channel sound and mixes it so that it becomes 5.1 channels. I really don't know why you would even want to do that. You're basically guessing what 5.1 audio would be like from a 2-channel source (ex. music or movie). Your sound card supports 6.1 sound so you are fine and you shouldn't worry about that.
