I would actually re-paint the hands to match the inner frame color. As for the weapons, I normally repaint that to something a bit more darker gray/gunmetal gray.

I think you guys are confusing stealth with camouflage. Grace's DE on Galia 4 was optical camouflage, not stealth. Battle Galaxy was probably using active stealth to reduce/eliminate it's radar signature, optical camo to avoid unwanted eyes, and then the holographic projection of Ranka.

Unfortunately, Mariya Takeuchi's album, "Expressions" seems to have knocked the OST to 2nd. But, the goal is to remain in the top 3, and hopefully, beat out OST vol. 1's record (linky)

I'll leave out the production reasons for VF designs. It's usually merchandising, need to be creative, or something involving LEGOs. As for in-universe stuff, the VF-0, VF-9, VF-22, VF-5000, VF-3000 also had the frontal cockpit. So it's not just the VF-1 or the VF-11. The VF-1's leg design is somewhat dangerous. The fact that the leg can separate from the fighter is somewhat hazardous. True, as the hydraulic is passing the leg to the hip joint, it is always connected. But if the hip joint fails to connect, there's a problem. If the hydraulic connector releases the leg too early, there goes your leg/engine.

Replicating that shiny gold is really hard. Many modelers I've seen in magazines or websites end up recoating in Tamiya champagne gold or a mix. The best I can say is try silver and then a clear yellow or similar color. Most modelers I've seen end up repainting it with a straight gold color.

NMCs probably has destroids as well. Just because we don't see them doesn't mean they it doesn't have them. And I really don't see the point of comparing a carrier vs a gunship.

I really get the feeling that Louise is Ribbons' eyes in the A-Laws. Which might explain whats-her-face from the season 1 finale. I'm still impressed with the Ahead. Guess the animation did make it look better than the lineart did. Throne Zwei also seems to be making a comeback. I'm not sure if Nena Trinity is flying Throne Drei or something else. The cockpit definitely looked like Drei's cockpit but I couldn't tell from the wide-shot view.
