Depending on how dark you want your gold, you can try a straight gold color. There's a chrome yellow from Tamiya, but I don't think I've ever used the one I bought. If you want a lighter gold, I would suggest champagne gold. There's a Tamiya pearl white out there. It's a tad darker than a pure white, but it does have the shining effect.

Didn't the VF-1 and VF-11 have missile coming out from nowhere in the VF-X games? You can't really render some things (like internal pallets) in every game ya' know...
