  1. Just reword it to "complete set". Either way, it will make sense with or without it.
  2. At least there's no VF-1.
  3. And just to back Mr. March up here with a more recent example. Gundam 00's animators complained to Director Mizushima about animating the mecha designs back in Season 1 enough that the designers made 2 sets of artwork, one for the animators, and one for the Gunpla people which has much more details for season 2. For example: 00 Gundam Image on the left was taken from when 00 Gundam debuted in Newtype Magazine. The one on the right is one month later. Now compare with the Gunpla instruction booklet (courtesy of dalong.net) http://dalong.net/review/00/0111/0111_i.htm And now compare with the picture from the official website: http://www.gundam00.net/ms/index.html So yes, even in a time where we have CGI, you still don't want to make your animators angry at you. Therefore, they make their designs easier for them.
  4. Youtube has the episodes up, IIRC.
  5. There are a few differences. Sheryl actually looks less detailed on the BRD/DVD than in the TV. The other shots are details on Michael and perspective/angle shots. Nanase doesn't tower over Ranka and actually looks a little pushed back. The angle on Ranka and Nanase are also different in a few shots Otherwise, there isn't much of a difference.
  6. The AUN forces had around 40 units available. Chances are that those they had on-board with them (both VF-0s and SV-51s) were cannibalized for parts to repair the usable fighters. The VF-1s already went into mass production. Why bother making parts for a VF-0 when the VF-1 was on it's way.
  7. Ngee Khiong (for all your Gunpla news)

  12. Kinda. From Dec. 2006, http://www.variety.com/article/VR111795469...yid=13&cs=1 They have other productions which they have rights to: http://www.imdb.com/company/co0004023/
  13. That's from the Tokyo International Film Festival and the article was dated Nov. 21, 2008. Basically talks about his works and his experiences. His travels after finishing the Macross movie (I guess they mean after DYRL?). He visited a US military base, then got culture shocked in China, then Nepal, which influenced Escaflowne, then Borneo for Arjuna, then Amazon and India for Aquarion, an aircraft carrier for Macross Zero. At the end, they mention Basquash and the MF movie.
  14. The Nvidia 8600M of last year's MBP should work just fine. I won't worry about it.
  15. Agreed. You might want to consider the Macbook Pro though. A Macbook can do the job resource-wise but the 13.3" screen might be bothersome to the eyes after a while. My Macbook is great for light to moderate viewing but it's not something I would consider for long-duration usage. It's just not big enough, screen-wise. But if budget is a concern, consider attaching an external monitor to it and using the external monitor for image work. That would fix the issue of the small screen.
  16. Lovely. More stuff to add to my holiday-period update list (which already has the other end of MII). BTW, the Goods sheet (highlighting the MF collectible cards) in Chronicle vol. 11 (that would be page 8 of the Goods sheet for those of you who took it apart already) also use "Klan Klang" as her name.
  17. Seriously we need new live-stream links cuz this is getting ridiculous. Frakin stream. Had to switch to Keyhole at the commercial break. Okay, now the Keyhole stream is fraked. And don't mind the terms "h4x" or "rage-quit". It's just that the reaction reminds me of when people do that on some game servers.
  18. Yay.. They made it before the end of the year.
  19. Ummm yah. I take it you've never seen the clear-edition Gunplas have you?
  20. I guess in true Star Trek fashion (best I could do on short notice):
  21. Garlands are not Macross though. Different show, different license.
  22. As I said, it's never been addressed, implied, alluded to, suggested, expressed directly or indirectly, hinted, insinuated, proposed, evoked, inferred, etc. Am I forgetting any synonyms?
  23. Well, Protoculture was ultimately in charge of the Zentradi before they died off. If there ever was a figurehead between the Protoculture and the Zentradi, has never been addressed.
