  1. I believe they are using that particular ARMD as the example. Some of the original lineart used ARMD 362 so I'm guessing they're picking on that particular ARMD. I'm looking at it this way, if they are marked for a specific series, that's where they apply to. When I first saw the multiple entries for SDF-1 Macross, the second thing that I noticed was that each was marked with TV, DYRL, and II. So what they say about SDF-1 for the TV series doesn't necessarily apply to the DYRL?, nor II. I would approach the ARMD entries for TV and DYRL? the same way. In other words, I'm sort-of sandboxing the glossary entries to their respective series. The movie version of the ARMDs only apply to DYRL?. The TV show ARMDs only apply to SDFM.
  2. Hush! Go back to your Ohnogi Macross novels.
  3. In fact, that book is listed as the reference for the Master File book. So I doubt the canon of the Master File. I won't. This whole book is based on a doushinji. So.... (Really, does Kawamori even look at this stuff anymore)
  4. People don't seem to understand the problem with the Ohnogi novels and why telling Gubaba to look for them is a REALLY BAD IDEA.
  5. Well, Kawamori is listed as the supervisor of the book, but the entire thing wasn't written by him according to the credits in the back of the book. In fact, Nanashino mentioned it looks like an update MAT book. So I'm inclined to believe it is an update to MAT.
  6. Hachiko: A Dog's Tale Jeebus....Now Hollywood has gone and bastardized Hachikō Monogatari. Few years ago, it was the horror movies. Now their working up to the animal movies. Guess we should be glad they haven't tried Battle Royale yet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hachik%C5%8D
  7. It may be best to wait till you have that 500-700 ready all at once. You can build an AMD-based system instead of an Intel-based system to cut down the costs. Since you are using a lot of old parts, incremental updates will be hard. Otherwise, I would recommend you update components like your video card (we'll get to that in a minute). At a 500-700 budget, I would consider a mid-range Nvidia card. You could probably do better with a high-end ATI card but I would need to know what kind of case you are using now since you intend to keep it and pass it on. You will need to factor in a new video card in there unless you plan on using on-board video. Your old AGP video card will not work with newer computers (it's a dead standard).
  8. *facepalm* kresphy, my boy, he's just saying that the 1st part of Robotech, "The Macross Saga", i.e. the bastardized SDF Macross, is on Hulu.com. It's not a new series.
  9. I'm gonna side with Graham. I like the "C"-version a lot more than the "B". Gunpod be damned, I like the streamlined look. Glad I didn't jump on the "B" version.
  10. In the Chronicle. But it's role is minimal.
  11. In no such text has it ever been mentioned that Millia tested the Q-Rhea.
  12. Problem....If you're gonna use that pic, you gotta add more sex in the advertisement. For starters, call it "ROBOTEXXX".
  13. It's being reported that the season opener attracted 6.11 million viewers. Considering NCIS started this season with 20+ million.... well, you can do the math.
  14. Again, I think your assigning too much to IP rights, or I should say, "copyright", as "trademark" is also intellectual property. (If links do not work, you must manually search for it here: linky) HG's US trademark on Macross goods HG's US trademark on Macross toys (renewal) HG's US trademark on Macross media HG's US trademark on Macross media distribution HG's US trademark on Macross printed media and toys What Are Patents, Trademarks, Servicemarks, and Copyrights? Unfortunately, it doesn't just apply to merchandise from "Macross Saga". It applies to The Super Dimension Fortress Macross.
  15. * Macross Quarter - About effin time. * ADR-04-MkⅩ Defender - Meh * VF-5000 Star Mirage - B-sheet or a 1-pager * Vf-27 Lucifer - Gotta be a B-sheet
  16. I think someone needs sleep... Actually, companies don't have to show their contracts to anyone beyond the other party and/or representatives...unless you want to file a lawsuit, to which, then you might be able to see the contract...provided the court doesn't toss your claim out on the sidewalk. But otherwise, it's none of our business since we're not a party in that contract.
  17. Talk about a figure with a thin, long neck....
  18. IIRC, they will only accept from a Japan address, so many of us do not apply for the mail-in bonus.
  19. So far, it's a limited release. Beyond that....dunno.
  20. Yeah. They have the trademark so they can use it.
  21. Well it's probably a prototype sculpt. Probably the joint placement/transformation sculpt. We may see the final sculpt in next months' magazines.
  22. Maybe the should have tried a made-for-TV movie/backdoor pilot.
  23. "V" Remake Hits Big Delay Maybe they should have just save this show for summer.
  24. Taking a guess here, it would actually conflict with HG's merchandising rights. And HG would win that battle because they got the trademark first. IIRC, games are considered merchandising so that would violate HG's rights in this case.
