  1. Considering all the shots have been in space, I think it's the "Strike"-version of the VF-25's Super parts.
  2. That's a power condenser cooling unit.
  3. They're waiting for the LAM to give them something new. By that time, the MF movies will probably be on DVD/Blu-ray, should a RT LAM even be green lighted for production. They can design new stuff and they tried, but it's just that they are pinning their hopes and dreams on a LAM-revival to move it all.
  4. I'd call it adulthood with a touch of nostalgia.
  5. Looks like they redesigned the turrets on Macross Quarter. The bridge section looks exactly the same. You can see the Tornado pack on Alto's VF. It passes on the screen quickly. I'm finding myself to be unimpressed by it. Almost looks awkward on it. The Super parts look better on it.
  6. What, compared to other pachinko machines? If Yamato was re-animated like that in a weekly series...I'm sure you'd be there.
  7. The Tornado pack on that 1/72 looks like a sculpt so I would give it a few more months to see the final version. On the other side...I sense floppy shoulders on the VF-27 in addition to back problems. Might be one that will probably only see fighter mode, without the stand.
  8. PG 00 Raiser ain't looking too bad either. http://ngeekhiong.blogspot.com/2009/10/pg-...-from-49th.html And I'm still quite amazed at MG Blue Frame 2nd Revised's mobility. http://ngeekhiong.blogspot.com/2009/10/pg-...-all-japan.html
  9. All those clips are from the pachinko game. And unless you want to go to Japan, bust into a pachinko parlor just to crack open one of these slot machines to grab the software containing these clips, there isn't much to say about it. Of course, you can always go to Japan, drop in at the pachinko parlors and play just this one machine all night.
  10. 'Bout frakkin time. But out of curiousity...why ver. Ka? V was designed by Katoki in the first place.
  11. Gotta keep up with the times. Why not have another anniversary book.
  12. I would have your buying plan ready just in case something were to happen now.
  13. I would say, think "heatsink" for the beam cannons.
  14. At least he hasn't watched Code Eros...or those Eva porn...or the many Lum porn... Don't watch any of those. In fact, just stay away from any anime-to-live action porn all together.
  15. The Guantanamos are AKA "Advance ARMDs" and derived from the ARMDs, according the entry on Macross 7's ships in Issue #16. But the Guantanamos are a different class of ARMD (hence Guantanamo class). That still doesn't clear up sketchley's issue between the TV series ARMDs and the DYRL? ARMDs, as I understand it. Those 2 are suppose to be the same class yet have enough changes to differentiate the 2, hence his confusion about are they a new class or a remodel. As I've said, it might be best to keep them separate until this is clarified.
  16. I'll go back and check the issues for the ARMD entries. But I still say sand boxing the articles might be the best to maintain some kind of sanity. Yeh, it might help to read it, first. It said that the SDFN's purpose was the investigate and secure routes ahead of Megaroad-01. It did say they look similar to Macross. Didn't see anything about the ARMDs in that Glossary entry. So I can't give you a good answer to your question about the ARMDs. It might be a typo. http://www.scribd.com/doc/355191/The-Timid-Bunny
  17. It's up on Hulu for anybody that missed it. The vibe I'm getting with Stargate Galactica is well, BSG, Lost in Space with a bit of Sliders and a brunette that looks like she should be in a Joss Whedon show thrown in. I may pick at it but I don't know if I want to go back for seconds.
  18. http://ruliweb2.nate.com/ruliboard/read.ht...fo&num=3771 Even though most of this is a CG-render...Not bad I must say.
  19. To paraphrase a famous captain, the last thing I want is a visit from Temporal Investigations when I walk out of this thread....
  20. I believe they are using that particular ARMD as the example. Some of the original lineart used ARMD 362 so I'm guessing they're picking on that particular ARMD. I'm looking at it this way, if they are marked for a specific series, that's where they apply to. When I first saw the multiple entries for SDF-1 Macross, the second thing that I noticed was that each was marked with TV, DYRL, and II. So what they say about SDF-1 for the TV series doesn't necessarily apply to the DYRL?, nor II. I would approach the ARMD entries for TV and DYRL? the same way. In other words, I'm sort-of sandboxing the glossary entries to their respective series. The movie version of the ARMDs only apply to DYRL?. The TV show ARMDs only apply to SDFM.
  21. Hush! Go back to your Ohnogi Macross novels.
  22. In fact, that book is listed as the reference for the Master File book. So I doubt the canon of the Master File. I won't. This whole book is based on a doushinji. So.... (Really, does Kawamori even look at this stuff anymore)
  23. People don't seem to understand the problem with the Ohnogi novels and why telling Gubaba to look for them is a REALLY BAD IDEA.
