Macross Frontier Movie 1,YES it is subbed now edition
azrael replied to sharky's topic in Movies and TV Series
Stays here. -
It shouldn't be active. It should all be under the New UN banner. But that's not to say that the New UN isn't keeping the same MO that the UN maintained. They kept the Bird Human incident under wraps for that long. Why not keep Megaroad-01's whereabouts under wraps as well? But this topic is for another thread in another section. So we'll leave it there. As for RT, well, if you tell RT fans Rick, Lisa and Minmay fell into a black hole somewhere or tell them "God knows", they'll probably try and stone you to death.

Even having it on a T-shirt still doesn't make the Tornado pack look good. And the Sheryl T-shirt...too much is happening in that pic for it to go on a T-shirt. -

Gubaba should listen to RDM's podcasts for each episode while he watches the episodes. -

If going by my Kamen Rider or Zeta Gundam: A New Translation movie releases, it should be out in about 6 months, give-or-take. -
I thought we told you people the cut the racist/discrimination/genetics-yapping. It's just thread about a frakin movie.

But he didn't say it was wrong. It's just wasn't exactly right, which is true. Cuz Caprica kinda....nevermind. -

When asked the question of whether or not he would make clear who he likes, Kawamori said he'll make it clear while scratching his head. That's a non-answer. -

You'll wanna watch Razor if you want to know what her story is. -
VFTF1, I don't think we needed to know your idea, nor was it called for.

Don't forget the Minmay songs. Unfortunately though, we'll never know until the HG's trademark of Macross goes away.
-
Frontier may have the same issue with music that M7 does, behind the fact that HG has the trademark for "Macross".

Isn't that 7th Chord section the joke section of the magazine, which is probably why it doesn't make sense most of the time?

I'll have to dig for those. The discrepancy in the VF-25's battroid height is with and without the head lasers which I neglected to notice back then. The official site listed the height without, while later publications published the height with head lasers. Or vice versa. I forget. -

Those, IIRC, came from the DVD/Blu-Ray liner notes. But yeah, I haven't seen them reprinted as such since so I don't know if it will stick. Then again, I've been waiting on the Chronicle to write something concrete about the Vajra. -
Probably not. Just a transition period. Actually, UN Spacy was reliant on Ghosts as far back as the UN Wars. It's been a issue since then. Again, it was probably just a transition period.

Gatchaman's development will probably be looked at and re-evaluated. If it looks like there's no market for it, they may scrap future productions. But if it falls within a certain forecast, then they may decide to carry through but change it's treatment. It's a risk they gamble with. It may have all the praise and support during production, but when it gets to the public, the public may say otherwise. And if Robotech gets steamrolled in the box office, it will all be due to Robotech. Again, it's a gamble. It can go either way once it comes to the general audience.

Confirmed and Whedon's reply on his message board

As I've said, they live in their own little world over there where things revolve around Robotech. Break up that little world and they lash out. Happens a lot when people create their own realities. I'll chime in with a few comments. Considering we haven't seen a product in theaters, I'm not sure how one can make this kind of statement. That $402-million overall domestically tells me otherwise. Never underestimate the draw of a mindless action flick for the summer movie masses. I'll believe it when I see it. And I'm not sure how Star Trek fits into this considering it's in a different realm of Sci-Fi.

Bandai 1/72 Scale Macross Frontier Model Kit Thread Ver.3

The chest piece on the VF-27 is slightly longer than the VF-25's. The longer piece probably interferes with the transformation. -
Nothing noteworthy. ECA, pinpoint barriers, and shields?

Probably. It would affect their U.S. disc sales. While it may be on Hulu for everyone to watch freely, it still has ads. You can watch it ad free by buying the disc releases. The situation for HG isn't bad but it's not good. They'll lose money if they buy back the distribution rights from whomever it was transferred to, dissolving the contract with the former-ADV. If whomever has the rights, decides to not produce anymore copies, HG would lose out on revenue, in which case, buying back the rights/dissolving the original contract would be the best for them since they won't gain revenue. There is the option that whomever has the disc rights can continue to honor the original contract. In that case, there would be no significant change to HG's revenue coming from disc sales. Whatever the result, HG does not stand to gain additional revenue from whomever has ADV's distribution rights to RT, Macross, SC, and Mospeada (there will either be no significant change or a lost). No. This is Hollywood we're talking about. Just be glad they haven't tried to bringing Jem to the movie theaters.

Well, HG can buy the distribution rights back from whomever ADV sold the rights to, in other words, make a buyout deal to fulfill the remainder of the contract. Or they can continue dealing with whomever ADV sold the rights to. Considering there are 4 separate entities that ADV sold their holdings to AEsir Holdings, SXION 23 distributors, Valkyrie Media Partners, Seraphim Studios (not sure about Seraphim though), yeah, it can get messy. Especially if Valkyrie holds the TV/net distribution rights while SXION holds the DVD/Blu-Ray distribution rights. Of course, there's always the possibility that whomever has it can opt to not renew the license and have the distribution rights revert back to HG. But that could take a while and get lost in paperwork. Oh well.
