I would suggest listening to Fire Bomber immediately to counter the effects. -
Should macross world all watch macross frontier together?

MW isn't going to set one up. We have neither the time nor bandwidth for that kind of operation. If you want to set one up on Livestream.com, you can do that yourself. And you're year late. We already did a live stream discussion. And I think most people would rather watch the Blu-ray rips. It will depend on what you want out of the phone. If most people at that workplace use Blackberries, then getting one will already be saving you any incompatibility headache. I would consider who has the better network coverage in your area before figuring out which Blackberry to pick up. -
Macross Frontier Movie 1,YES it is subbed now edition

Well, it's said, no one was minding the store when M+ and MII came out. But as of now, HG owns the US and Europe trademark to "Macross". Anybody who attempts to bring any Macross over other than HG would be in violation of that trademark (and HG would win that outcome). Animeigo had to work with HG so that's why there was no BS coming from them on that. Read the License debate thread for more information. -

Speaking of which, you can avoid The Plan. -
Tobey's company is the one that's actually going to produce a movie, if a movie ever gets made. WB will be handling the distribution, marketing, etc. for Tobey's company. WB got the film license and Tobey's production company will be the ones to actually produce the flick (i.e. Macguire Entertainment and Warner Brothers presents, in association with Harmony Gold blah blah blah). Right now, a script needs to be pitched and greenlit by the studio. Then the studio/producers need to find a director. Director needs to meet with Macguire Entertainment and line up all the art and VFX studios, casting companies, etc. to get a budget. Then they run the budget by the studio, etc.... (bear in mind some of this can be done together and/or out of order, i.e. they can have a director by the time they pitch a script). We'd have something like the G1 Transformers fans against the new ones, basically. Been there, done that. At which point, we're gonna see an influx of newbie questions.

When you get to the middle through the end, you'll find out. Well....they don't say "By your command", but they ummmm... "waddle out" of their "armor". -

They have the consent of Tatsunoko. They'll pull ideas but it won't be Xerox copy of the cartoon. "Drawing inspiration" would be the lingo. As they market their own movie, referencing the 80s series will be in short blurbs. But the fact that they reference it will make people go back and look at the series. When you hear "re-imaging", "revitalize the franchise", or "reference the source material" , the tendency would be to look back at where it came from. The old series would get some attention through people looking for it trying to figure out where a LAM would be headed. The 80s cartoon would indirectly get some attention as it gets mentioned through producing the LAM.
-
I got my eye on you BOY! Well, if WB wants some money back for spending money producing the proposed flick, they're gonna need to spend some money in marketing. Well, they'll probably "reference the source material" if they are making the film. What they would focus on would be the LAM but it's going to be compared to the elements from the show so they'll end up talking about the cartoon in some form or another.

Unfortunately, the lady has a point and what was stated is true. What? That RT is based of several Japanese series loosely tied together? We've already had a number of productions that were based off a Japanese production already. What's to stop them from having another? Hell, they already remade a movie about a dog. As I said, with good marketing, even crap will sell.

It's still money. And why waste money on a translation that few in the population can read nor understand and will probably not be sold in other countries? -

Prepare for lots of character moments stemming from the New Caprica-arc. Also keep it in mind as you go through the series. It'll come back. -

Well, the closer we get to Christmas, the more prices will drop to entice buyers. The only thing that irks me about that Asus is the Pentium dual-core. The Acer-model that you pointed out seems to fit but is just out of that $700-$800 range. If you're adamant on getting one before the New Year, I'd line up your possibles and start watching coupon sites for deals. I think the GeForce GT 220M will do better than the 4650. The 4650, IIRC, is older. -

If you don't want to shell out for the 230M, yeh. If you can find a GT 130M, that could probably work. That one looks like a good deal. 14" won't be my choice for a gaming-size screen but it's cheap enough. -

Well, that would bring us down to the Nvidia GT 230M or a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4530 or 3650 -
Comes with a disc full of goodies and a cover design by Mikimoto.

Yep. The binders are listed as "Magazine" (which falls in the Books/Magazine category).

Lovely, my last 3 binders just came. There goes $40 in shipping fees. Unless you have issues with paying the ridiculous international shipping rate, Amazon still has them. Linky

If they do get something out by 2011, when TF3 is coming out, WB will push the release date back or push forward (by an undetermined amount) to stay clear of TF3. Depending on various circumstances, it can mean a drop in revenue or a wise move. But it's hard to know since I'm not sure what's going to be out by then. If they decide to go up against, let's say something from the Twilight-series, that's going to be a bad move. But if they avoid the blockbusters and release it on its own, it can go both ways. It could be a hit or it could be a bore. Never say never. And it's still possible to get a return investment out of it. Again, you can never be sure. We've had 3 sets of writers. Some movies go through a number of screenplays before one is greenlight-ed. Unfortunately we don't know that. If it's marketed well, then advertisers will come flocking to it. Be wary of writers who can make sense of even nonsensical shows. Even crap can make money if marketed correctly.

"idea of what is going on"... So they don't know.
