    Keith, In the editing box in the quick-reply or regular posting area, you'll see light switch icon. Toggle this to disable the CKEditor and see if that resolves your issue.

    I recall Zeta Gundam: A New Translation-movies.....That's probably the best recent use of blending old and new animation. Outside of the story redo, the transition between old and new animation was absolutely terrible. You'd see clean, fluid, detailed, new animation then switched to blurry/faded, semi-fluid, simple animation. It was awful at times. If this is the kinda stuff that HG is doing with LLA, you're opening yourself up for a wide array of ridicule.

    After 2 episodes, this show is surprisingly....the same as any other Gundam show. All that fanboy rage really was nothing but hot air. My reaction so far to this show: Could be worst....could be better. But right now...

    Is there a firmware update for the drive? You may need to flash the burner with a newer firmware.

    It would depend on the changes. Along the lines The Lion King and Kimba: The White Lion. And it would fall on Big West to file a copyright claim against whomever is making the story. I don't recall Tezuka Productions filing a copyright infringement on Disney in Japan. It would depend on how a reboot would decide to cross that line. How do you want to play a reboot?

    It can be done. Once you strip out the character and mecha designs, you're left with the story. Just take the bare-bones of the story (ship crashes on Earth, opening humanity's door to the stars and wars with aliens). You'll have a generic sci-fi story...... which one would think they could work with...

Click on that to update your photo/avatar. Or in your profile: Macross World Forums > Your control panel > Settings > Profile Settings

    SEED Destiny is a freakin' cakewalk compared to Robotech. Most of us could understand that Gundam show in our sleep, while drunk, or even with the worst hangover ever, compared to RT. Told ya.

    And really, you can't say your a purist when you haven't tried the bastardization. And the Macross portion of RT is what binds and drives the rest of the series. Without Lick Hunter, SDF-1, and all the crap changes that went into Macross, we won't have objects of ridicule to dangle in front of the lunatic fringe of RT fandom.

    Trust us. Reading what we say is NOTHING compared to actually watching it. Listening to a podcast is NOTHING compared to actually watching it. Until you watch it and understand why we give it such a hard time, then you would be regurgitating what we or anyone else who have actually suffered through it has said. It's free to watch on Youtube or Hulu.
