  1. Yeah, that's not Yune art.
  2. Every series has had a different writer...Hiroshi Ohnogi, Ken'ichi Matsuzaki, Noboru Ishiguro, Sukehiro Tomita, Minto Hajime, Sukehiro Tomita, Shinichiro Watanabe, Keiko Nobumoto, Hiroyuki Yoshino... There's always Gundam.
  3. And SDFM. MII. Kawamori can call any director he wants, but he's still the executive producer.
  4. Not necessarily. Considering it's from a user on the official site forums who's doing exactly what we're doing (i.e. speculation), I won't put too much weight on the post.
  5. Perhaps you should watch Frontier or any other Macross show...AGAIN, as you seem to be missing some of the key points of the show. And perhaps you should try to read some of the material out there before asking. Vajra, as explained in the show, can go through fold faults. Thus, they don't have to navigate around them. Meaning their path through fold is, well, a straight line. And the shortest path between any 2 points is a straight line. And due to the fold quartz in their bodies, they can generate lots of energy, allowing them to travel through fold for long distances without stopping. Very far. We don't know. Watch the next Macross series to find out.
  6. It's only avaliable from select retailers in Hiroshima, where it is basically under a trial sale for now. It may be a while before it goes nationwide.
  7. There was a resin kit from B-Club. Several kits. Any poll would only reflect the people who visit this site, not fandom in Japan.
  8. As much as I hate to admit it, it will probably come to this at some point. Kawamori ain't getting any younger. But at the same time, he's pushed Macross beyond the realm of a "human conflict" that Gundam is. You can rehash to concepts (love triangle, singers, etc.), but expanding it beyond Zentradi, Protodeviln, Vajra, or even Protoculture may be a challenge. Won't be impossible, just difficult considering where Kawamori has taken it.
  9. Oh, they're canon alright. Canon to their own timelines. The UC timeline may be the main one but by no means is it the ONLY one.
  10. Synopsis for Episode 5 is up: http://www.gundam-unicorn.net/en/world/index.html Theatrical screening release date: May 19th 2012 On Blu-Ray & DVD: June 8th, 2012
  11. Yeah....I'm still trying to figure out how I'm gonna work that in. It would have been nice if they just started with #51 and just reprinted the original Chronicle set instead of reorganizing new and old material it into a new volume.....
  12. I'm sure they'll be releasing both colors.
  13. And personally, I like the fact that Macross doesn't come out with something new every other month or year like say...Gundam. It's nice to know I can give my wallet has a chance to recover from this hobby compared that long list of Gunpla models I have yet to build or buy.
  14. Good grief. Yet another soul that wants a "What-happened-to-Hikaru-Misa-Minmay?"-story. If you want Macross to be more like Gundam, go watch Gundam.
  15. Please talk about your "pie" thing somewhere else. Not here and not involving MW in your pranks.
  16. Nope. This is a cartoon about transforming airplanes. Why can't they be different colors? It's the same reason we have a white VFs with red strips. Or a blue VFs with white highlights. Or a grey/white commander VF with white skulls on black. This level of high visability doesn't make any sense and isn't suppose to.
  17. Stick to topic kids. Unicorn talk? -> http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=29042 Every show before Gundam AGE talk? -> http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=18457 Search is your friend.
  18. I'm willing to give it a few more days to buzz to see if more distributors and/or stores get it listed. But if this is case (i.e., only available at 7-11s inside Hiroshima Prefecture), then I'm not even sure it's worth it for our Japanese users to go look at it, much less everyone else try to hunt it down. It's like telling someone from Iowa to drive into Illinois for a White Castle burger.
  19. Reminds me of a magazine article from Hobby Japan(?) from a few years ago. You can find the pics here: See here when Flickr doesn't work No paints. Just Top Coat to get rid of the glossy plastic look, Gundam markers for the fine details, and there ya go.
  20. Considering most of it looks like a reprint, don't think I'll be spending that much money on this volume. Maybe they're learning something from the current Gundam Perfect Files.
  21. The post almost sounds like they're gonna reprint the original for the 30th Anniversary (with the corrections on the sheets this time), with some slightly updated graphics, and updates since the last set (i.e. the Frontier movies). Anyways, discuss in the Chronicle thread: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=32805 Yah...I'm confused.
