  1. You can't..for the most part. Any online shop that does have it probably won't ship overseas. This was also a limited-run (even more so now) volume which was only available in Hiroshima Prefecture.
  2. More stuff from this year's summer flicks preview issue of Entertainment Weekly: 6 new photos from ‘The Dark Knight Rises’
  3. This came to me via a FB link.
  4. Episode 5: "The Black Unicorn" cover art. Blu-ray (Release Date: Jun 8th 2012, Price: 6090 yen) DVD (Release Date: Jun 8th 2012, Price: 5040 yen) Source: http://gundamguy.blogspot.com/2012/03/mobile-suit-gundam-uc-episode-5-black.html
  5. More likely, the 1st print run is sold out. They're gonna have to run another pressing of Volume 1. When it will come is probably anybody's guess.
  6. Didn't we say this already?
  7. It's probably due to the fact that we aren't getting as much time to spend with them as we would a normal linear series. Here we only see the only glimpses of their lives as oppose to previous shows where we followed them for 6-months out of the year (viewer perspective). With AGE, we're only spending 3-months before they move on to the next generation. So perhaps our mental investment isn't as great as it would be with a different series.
  8. Mmmkay....See, pineapple salad, requires the use of actual fruit...in and as food. That didn't happen. And the "older mentor" dying ain't new with Gundam.
  9. Not going to the flashly-style opening I see...
  10. There's a difference between not liking a thread and threads about a subject that could literally be answered in a few posts, thereby wasting board space with thread that would inevitably fall back into the abyss of pages. Your thread was the latter. That's what this thread is for and Benson13 said. As the slogan goes, "You got questions. We got answers."
  11. Unfortunately, Liefield hasn't changed...
  12. I'm fine with them tossing the red underwear, but of the set photos of the costume, I'd really wish they would have slapped on a belt to break up the top from the bottom and so we don't have the unitard look.
  13. You're probably not. I won't want to see modern tech retroactively inserted into older shows either.
  14. Reminds me of The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special hosted by Morgan Spurlock. One of the series producer responds to critics who say the show isn't funny anymore. And his retort is "Maybe you've changed." Isn't it? Yah. Look what it does to the fans of the bastardized franchise of Macross.
  15. Is Sony still worth buying? I'm not sure I can answer that. In this very competitive electronics market that we have, does Sony still have the same value, price/performance, features that a competitor may have? Not looking at the Playstation brand, can the same be said about the rest of their products? Is there a equal product that has similar or better features, price/performance factor, etc.?
  16. Don't shoot the messenger, I'm just postin' the link. Scoop: Michael Bay’s Alien Turtles Apparently Aren’t Teenagers Either (BleedingCool.com)
  17. Gundam Wiki is probably jumping the gun. He probably is, but I don't recall them mentioning Asemu's abilities yet. Considering AGE-2's focus on manueverability and Asemu's knack for gun kata and dual weapons, I'd love it if the producers threw in a "What? He destroyed X mobile suits in Y minutes?" (where Y<X).
  18. Oh jeez... Here we go again with "let's make make-believe more real". But the story is telling...showing us what they look like. If didn't know what they looked like, what's the point of having robots transforming into planes then? So even showing us on screen isn't realistic enough? We have to close our eyes, imagine it, even as it's being shown on screen? M'kay. And what details are we familiar with? And isn't putting realism into unrealistic entertainment, taking the fun out of unrealistic entertainment? Why have an imaginary world if I can't imagine things existing in it that don't exist in the real world. If I wanted to make my imaginary world more realistic, I'd probably end up living in the real world 'cuz I would be slapped with lawsuits, unimaginable paperwork, etc., just to get the grant money to fund this 1.2 km long space vessel.
  19. Surprisingly, I thought this week's episode wasn't too bad. Compared to last week's that is.
  20. I always get a cocaine-like kick when someone says "Let's make unrealistic entertainment more...real".
  21. Here's Eastman's opinion about this debacle (Facebook) And here's Laird's clarification about his blog post concerning this debacle (Blogspot)
