  1. FYI, SEED Freedom premiered on Friday. Yep. Whomever is doing the lineart for SEED, please fire and ban them from ever working on a Gundam production. I'm sure these designs will look much better on screen or on promotional artwork that isn't lineart.
  2. Yes, this sounds just like my adventures in finding the right keyboard and mouse. And the only recommendation I can give anyone is "Try it and hope where you bought it from has a good return policy". And be prepared to drop money cuz it may take several tries to find the right input device. Ah the G502. I got that when it first came out many moons ago. I hated it. Coming from the G5/G500/G700-family shape, the G502 made me claw grip and eventually became unbearable for daily use and I returned it only after a week of use. I thought of going with Razer but this was back in the day where Razer had questionable build quality so I kept looking. I finally settled on Roccat for my daily driver and have been there ever since. Their shapes fit my big hands and my palm grip. I have dabbled back with Logitech on the G900, G703, and G Pro. The G900 was OK but not what I was looking for in the long run. I still use it for WFH, but not for gaming anymore. The G703 was the best for my grip but saw less use over time and was eventually replaced by the G Pro, which is now my gaming mouse when I want something lighter for flick-movements. My G703 found a new home at the office, where I needed something more ergonomic. Keyboards.... 😅 I still use Logitech membranes in the office (NEVER, EVER BRING A MECHANICAL KEYBOARD INTO AN OFFICE SPACE unless everyone else is using a mechanical KB). As mentioned earlier, I'm floating between my Roccat and have started test daily driving with a Nuphy Air 96v2 (sorry, I can't work without my ten-key). It's low profile and solid. It's one of the few 96% low profiles out there (besides a Keychron K17). I also got it with a coupon so that helped bring down the starting price.
  3. No. We are not a file sharing website.
  4. I’m against a movie. As mentioned, there’s been too much baggage built up over the past 3 seasons to summarize that for a movie and a TV series shouldn’t be a requirement to watch a movie. Other issues as mentioned above are also a concern.
  5. A new thread can be made when a trailer drops. This news sounds like a “Maybe-maybe-maybe” idea. No script, no cast, just a thought floating on the interwebs.
  6. Yeah, I'm still giving MSI the 🤨 until reviews on that Intel chipset are out. Arc graphics are not as mature as Radeon 780M on the Z1 so we'll have to see how well it performs.
  7. Unfortunately, that only works for the Harrier since the exhaust nozzles are closer to the middle of the aircraft. Deploying the legs like that is akin to changing to GERWALK-mode mid-maneuver. And when dealing with another VF-type aircraft, the effect negated since the other aircraft could pull the same tactic (essentially hitting the brakes, and they fly past you).
  8. Hopefully the writers takes advantage of their characters and actors (Jodie's Doctor suffered from writers who didn't write good scripts). Doubt it. Really doubt it. We will see more "mystical" villains this season. https://screenrant.com/doctor-who-ncuti-gatwa-toymaker-minions-story-future/
  9. So I assume Rebel Moon is heading toward guilty-pleasure territory? MST3K-territory? Well here's Part 2's trailer to start laughing at.
  10. All productions essentially stopped during the strikes. When that happened, production crews were free to move to other projects, sets were torn down, VFX houses moved on to their next projects. Sound stage rentals basically went un-used. Writing, re-writes and re-shoots couldn't happen. That screws up scheduling to the Nth degree (especially since the actors went on strike too). Now that everyone is going back to work, you can't just pick up where you left off, especially when you are competing with other productions for resources. Same goes for the actors, production crews, sound stages, etc. They're all booked well in advanced. If a production had their spot booked at a time after the strike ended, do you think they would give up their spot for a production that got cutoff during the strikes and blew past their deadlines, maybe having to wait months for the next opening? That means those productions would be set back and they would have to get to the back of the queue. Even if a soundstage was booked and a production still had it by the time the strikes ended, they've lost x-months where nothing happened. They can do what they can but still have to be out of there for the next production that had that venue reserved. So a lot of these productions which are being pushed back are because they, essentially, lost their spot and have to re-queue to make it finish line. And even if they are allowed to keep their spots, that pushes every other reservation back so now those production's deadlines are pushed back and everyone's releases are delayed x-amount of time.
  11. Is there a limit to how many times one can see the same game engines/game types? Maybe it's me, but all these trailers from the Gaming Awards look like I've seen them on different games. Jurassic Park: Survival looks like Alien: Isolation. Black Myth: Wukong's use of the Unreal Engine reminds me of Jedi:Fallen Order/Jedi Survivor.
  12. To also be fair, they did battle against mostly fighter jets and walking fighter jets for most of the conflict so their assessment was still mostly true. Encounters with powered armor were rare until the latter half of the conflict.
  13. As long as they tossed the boring B-stories that did nothing for the show, they may have a much tighter story arc.
  14. Because why not? Pilots were getting into hand-to-hand combat situations. Why not have a knife? Seeing that later VFs incorporated a combat knife, a bayonet wasn't a bad idea. VF-11s did have wing hardpoints. They just didn't show it on-screen that much.
  15. Some games don't really make compelling TV.
  16. This is suppose to be a 3-part 60th anniversary special with the next 2 episodes airing over the next 2 Saturdays. "You've re-decorated. I don't like it."
  17. In most cases, yes. The SV-51 was unique with its LiftSystem™ fan jets. But it lacks auxiliary thrusters that other VFs had. And if the legs provide VTOL capabilities and the fan jet is useless in space (the SV-51 was designed from the get-go to be use in atmosphere), then the fan jet is unnecessary.
  18. Extra ordnance & thrust capacity.
  19. Funny that you mention that cuz here's a quote from the Vanity Fair article: I can see Filoni is trying to flesh out things post-Empire, but he's also holding back (hence, I'm being underwhelmed by the shows we have). The shows should come to some narrative ending each season, otherwise we get a "That's it????"-kind of ending. Like with Ashoka. I do appreciate Filoni is trying to not repeat sequels cookie cutter plots that they were.
  20. It's hearsay and conjecture based on text in the Master File books and some materials for the YF-29. As mentioned, we don't have any real data nor evidence to back up any of it. Is any of it actually canon? 🤷‍♂️ As @sketchley has indicated, people may be mis-interpreting the YF-24 destructive capabilities in terms of firepower when its power may be in its engine/airframe performance and maneuverability. But since we don't have any documented evidence of that either...🤷‍♂️
