    It's been a year or 2 since Caprica ended? Yeah, it's not coming back. Cast and crew have moved on. It would be great if they released Blood & Chrome as a standalone TV movie but I'm not holding my breath.

    I'm sick of directors that make expensive moves full of VFX/fill their movies with Bayexplosions, hires no name actors or models thinking they can act, or change a franchise so much that it becomes a laughable footnote but you don't see me complaining about it.

    This case was just a simple similarly-named trademark dispute which is probably a dime-a-dozen (in most parts of the legal world), i.e., this happens probably too commonly. The plaintiff (Algotex) filed a dispute saying that the name "MACROSS" from the defendant (HG) infringes on their trademark "ACROSS" because the trademarks apply to clothing. But since the logos and names are fairly different, the trademarks don't infringe on each other. This has zero-influence on anything related to Macross. This is one of those filler cases that fill up the patent courts.

    This is probably why I've been liking Chris Nolan's style of directing. He cuts it out before it makes its way to the shooting script so that he films only what's on the script and no extra that will be cut later. On that note, I actually appreciated what Whedon cut out those deleted scenes from The Avengers because in no way should those deleted scenes have been included in the final film since they either distracted from the overall film or just did not fit in at all with the team-dynamic of the movie.     Talk about a case of the runs...If true, it's probably best that she not leave the 3-second vicinity of a toilet nor do any wild shaking, i.e. dancing, for a week.

    I found the F-14 variants they threw in there a bit....tacky. And really, this book should be light on content since the VF-0 was an experimental fighter. The fighter only had a service life of <5 years. Compared to the VF-1's 40+ year service life, or the VF-19's near-20 year service life.
