  1. And it is. So unless it's news, don't post. Take it somewhere else. My mod finger is getting itchy for a banning.
  2. Just keeping up this thread: Episode 6: "Space, Earth, and..." Blu-ray version will cost 6,090 yen and the DVD will cost 5,040 yen, available March 22nd, 2013. And like previously, will be opening in select Japanese theaters (~16 of them) on March 2, 2013. Theater goers and 1st print limited editions will receive special disc containing a making-of-Episode 6 video and the live event from May 2012.
  3. Here's a food-for-thought discussion topic: A few days ago, CNet decided to run this article: Intel to kill off desktop as we know it, reports claim Which called back a several days to these reports: * Intel’s Haswell Could Be Last Interchangeable Desktop Microprocessors - Report. * Intel kills off the desktop, PCs go with it We all know ARM-based chips are really pushing through within the past few years thanks to smartphones and tablets. But, more importantly, SOCs are starting to be the silicon-of-choice for these devices because we're going smaller and the need for an all-in-one-chip solution is a necessity for those devices. As much as I am part of the enthusiast-market that is slowly fading away, I know inevitably, we are moving to this route. We know Intel, after many years, finally integrated the Northbridge onto their CPUs as well as integrating a GPU. Intel is also integrating the Southbridge to the Haswell-generation of CPUs for ultrabooks. I'm sad to see things die this way but in my heart, I know this is the road we're heading down. One more upgrade for the road then?
  4. Gundam Movie Domains Listed Under Sony Pictures No idea what this means...Sony becomes the international distributor for the property? Sony is gonna develop a Hollywood-style live-action? Sony is domain squatting/parking cuz Bandai Ent. has practically ended most of its licensing business?
  5. Getting that Transformers Alternator-vibe from this one. With a bit of Code Geass. Those disproportionate legs and those feet...I've seen that foot design somewhere...
  6. Looks like a bastard child of a Gundam and an Iron Man armor with a comically small head to me...
  7. Possible 1/144 RG candidates for 2013: RG Test Pattern for Inspection: Upcoming RG 1/144 UC Gunplas? - Gunpla Expo World Tour 2012 Japan - Wallpaper Size Images
  8. How about spoilers only when doing a live-viewing, just to avoid timezones of people who are going to watch it. But judging by the activity on this thread, that probably isn't going to be too much of a problem.
  9. Why? Why not. Because Kawamori is the greatest troll EVER? And don't you know, through Kawamori's research during Macross Zero, he discovered you can have multiple wives (true story, LOL).
  10. Bandai Hobby Division: New Gunpla Releases (2013)
  11. Maybe not reboot, but push it down a bit (like say, a month or 6 after the events of this series). They would probably have to recast people to work with everyone's schedules. But who knows.
  12. Some more shots from that concept footage: New ROBOCOP Licensing Sizzle Reel Featuring Concept Art The concept looks a lot better than what they're filming right now....
  13. Yes. SyFy may consider more online series down the road, but for now this is all they have planned. If it does really really really well, they may even promote it up to TV-status instead of web-series.
  14. Perhaps this might explain some things about the production values to this show: ‘Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome’: Online, on purpose (published Nov. 9, 2012)
  15. Hmmmm...So we're getting 2 episodes this week, too. Maybe it's to pre-make-up for the Thanksgiving weekend next week? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXCnuArj4b8 edit: Guess not. Episode 5 and 6 will still air on Nov. 23rd.
  16. Trailer news: Exclusive: First Star Trek Into Darkness Trailer Also Premiering Dec. 14th To make it clear, regular screening of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey = regular trailer IMAX screening of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey = 9-minute preview
  17. Unlike this production, they couldn't spend all their money in 1 2-hour show.
  18. You're asking too much from a pilot episode/movie. And unless SyFy changes it's mind and decides they want more of this show that they filmed last year, I doubt we'll get any of that. Keep in mind they filmed this back in early-mid 2011.
  19. Such is the way with technology. Every year there's something new which does the old thing better/cheaper/smaller/all the above.
  20. Ideally, they're suppose to be the same just as the Cylon Raiders we see should be the same as the ones from BSG: Razor, but I'm sure there are some slight differences. Since the production values seemed to be higher than what they were back in the re-imaged series, I'm sure they took this opportunity to really "redesign"/cleanup the stuff they used previously.
  21. SyFy will air the 2-hour pilot in early 2013. The unrated Blu-ray/DVD currently has a street date of Feb. 19, 2013. Whether you want to watch it now or wait till it comes out early next year is up to you.
