  1. <p> The recording things are prohibited. If someone did it, they would never hold the next event like this. Some foreigners don't care about it, because they don't care about the trust between the company and the consumers in Japan, either. Bandai related companies block the internet streaming from the viewers outside of Japan. But Goodsmile Company is not so stern. And these streams are broadcast by NicoNico, so the international streaming is very likely, I guess. For example, once Danny Choo broadcast his program from the Goodsmile Company's office via NicoNico. I could watch it both NicoNico and NicoNico.com (mainly from outside of Japan) at that time. Why don't you ask them about the broadcasting? They have their own Facebook page. www.facebook.com/goodsmilejapan
  2. I am looking forward to it. The Valkyrie's/ character's licenses belong to Big West/ Nue/ Kawamori, and WB/ HG have to make another new models of them. So, the Japanese fans will be able to accept that Macross and Robotech are different things easily because the icons of Macross will never be infringed. Some Robotech fans may complain saying, "this is not Macross saga." But I don't care and who cares? Robotech itself has been (censored). The guys praising the Spanish “amatures'” movie may also be disappointed to watch it, because they just want to watch the Macross robots and mechas.
  3. "Chisuga," not Chigusa. But actually Chisuga is not so popular name, even I sometimes call it “Chisuge.” She has already sung the ending theme of "Kotoura-san," and the opening theme is Nakajima-san's song. http://www.lisani.jp/2013/01/25/23515
  4. The secret of "Kyoto" was revealed. Oshare Macross is held at Kyoto Marui. It had been famous that Marui had never opened its branch stores in Western Japan because the Kansai residents had used to be said that they didn't like to use their own credit cards. Even many men/ women who didn't have such cards existed. What they believed were cash transactions; it comes from its merchant culture in Kansai. But now there are 3 Marui stores. Hmm, times have changed...
  5. A definite copyright violation. It must be reported to the authorities. Hm, some gaijins really don't have enough awareness of copyright. 割れ外人って日本のファンに嫌われてんだけどな、わかんねぇんだ。どうしょうもねぇ。
  6. When I watched Robotech Shadow Chronicles things on youtube. I found a comment. It was saying, "I know a Japanese Macross fan. He also said Shadow Chronicles is a good one." I couldn't stop laughing for a while. After that, I will never stop attacking Borotech things. I hate such a lair. Sorry liar, even a Japanese fan have watched your shitty bullshit. Kawamori/ Mikimoto made a Dojinshi. Yes. But to earn much money? No. So was Daicon 3 & 4. At a glance of this one, much money was needed. A donation? No? Where did it come from? Some banks? "We will make a Robotech short movie, we had a permission from HG, we have skills, after making it we will push it to HG and BW, and IT BECOMES MORE MONEY!" If they obtained a loan, just like this.
  7. Thanks for uploading. You are the one of very few Macross fans in Kansai district, so I want you to do well, that's all. I don't tease you.
  8. Hello, folks. At noon in Tokyo and partly cloudy sky. Degraded copy of Macross, Southern Cross and Mospeda. Period. "The voices of a distant star" by Makoto Shinkai? He beats those "fans" because he made it with his original story, characters, mechas, much longer and the most important thing is, he made it by himself. How about the punks? Just using the other guys' properties. "Hell Yeah, we made it!" B U L L S H I T. Well, anyway, "so, what can you do?" is the words of the quarrels between the kids... We have watched SDFM, the viewing rate got better, and the stories were prolonged in 1982-1983, so the Japanese fans proud of it. Some members here know I started watching SDFM from October 1982. I contributed the success of SDFM at that time. The staffs answered the expectations of us. We have an eye to assess what is good and what is lame/ wack.
  9. What I want to say about this one is "so what?" I wonder if they want some flattery here. Why didn't they try to do the Itano Circus? This movie contains just Hoollywood-movie-like music, scenes, Macross mechas, CGs, and eh, that's all. Japanese fans will be never satisfied with it in such a degree.
  10. To sketchley. You didn't write down that Megumi Nakajima's autograph had been added on the VF-25F. You failed to recognize? Well, I found it on your photo.
  11. I don't know about figure things well, but are these the first deformed figures of Ishtar and Sharon Apple?

  13. A. A politician made a political anime. It's so natural. Besides, it was so outspoken at least for me. I didn't/ don't accept his Yamato favorably. B. After "Code Geass" in 2006, the international issues have tended to be included in animes in Japan. For example, "Evangelion 2.22," "Symphogear," and "009: Re-Cyborg." I didn't watch 009, but Joe and Jet were talking about the doubt about America in the teaser trailer. At least those ones have such an element. Well, people outside of Japan can't watch these ones in chronological order. So they can't know the trend what many anime fans (only) in Japan want to watch. I feel so sorry for that. But, well, as long as they are depending on the piracy, it can't be helped.
  14. I re-watched the Hukkatsu-hen. The ending is totally different from the original one. I found Kentaro Haneda's name together with Miyagawa-san's in the ending credit. RIP, Haneda-san. Thanks not only for Yamato's but also many SDF Macross's songs. I wonder why this one is so non-Japanese-anime like. The facial expressions of the characters are so poor. CG is not so bad in comparison with Innocent (the sequel of Ghost in the Shell the movie). Innocent was so wack. This story is based on the Iranian Revolution, the Gulf War and the Iraq War. The Interstellar National Union≒ the United Nations The upstart country≒ definitely America SUS= Space United States? Etos≒ France, Russia, China or Germany which has its own history, chivalry and opposed to the Iraq War Amal≒ Iraq and Iran What Yamato did is what Ishihara wants Japan to do. This is what he wanted to say in this movie as a politician. And this is the most important theme of this anime.
  15. Japan has just got into 2013. I also read her blog recently. I wonder if she will go to the SD Exhibition or not because Hirakata Park is less than 2 hours or so from her home town, Nagoya by the bullet train and the Keihan line.
  16. Well, it's time to re-watch the Hukkatsu-hen again. I went to the DVD rental shop. I should judge if it was anti-American or not. But this is the "director's cut" one and I heard something differs from the original one... I will spend the New Year's Holiday with this.
  17. Oh, controversial it becomes... The draft was written by Ishihara, not Nishizaki. The guy with wicked tongue... And he talks too much recently... Space Middle East was attacked and Yamato helps them as a "heroic" attitude. That is the former Governor of Tokyo, Ishihara's typical taste, and he has sometimes said something hostile about America. Well, it may be my prejudice toward him, but I know who he is like. Everybody has his/ her own opinion, if you think its not anti-America, I don't reject.
  18. Yamato Resurrection? You mean Yamato Hukkatsu-hen(ヤマト復活篇)? Hmmmmmmmmm. You are an American, so I don't highly recommend it. It was based on Shintaro Ishihara's (a novelist's and also a right-wing politician's) draft and the story implied something anti-American... The planet Yamato and its crews cooperate with looks like Persian. And the enemy is...

    Macross 30

Gundam 0083 was not a TV show. And the interesting thing is, M II: Only one Macross Shoji Kawamori didn't join G 0083: Only one Gundam Kawamori joined

    Macross 30

In 1993. I have never found any Macross II videos at the video rental shop I sometimes went to. I enjoyed Gundam 0083 then. I subscribed Animage, Newtype, and some Computer-related magazines specialized in games like Comptiq and Login, I don't remember M II things in such magazines. Sailor Moon, Slam Dunk, Nadia, The Irresponsible Captain Tylor, and so on were a hit, but M II was/ is not so popular in Japan.

    Macross 30

It is just an container. Usable both with a missile launcher, with a beam gun and something like that. How to use it is up to the optional system. He said he made the new flexible system in the end.
  22. 4:46 Sanada-san said to Kodai, "What you say has a lack of logicality." lol "Logical" reminds me of Spock from NCC-1701 Enterprise. I heard a foreign fan said "Spock is boarding Yamato." He wanted to say Sanada-san resembles Spock. Indeed. And the staffs of this series may be aware of it, his words may be born. Just guessing. But not so illogical.
