Macross in the weirdest places

At NicoNico Chokaigi. I first knew they like Madoka Magica... In Akibabara yesterday. The bus was actually running. -
If it were not Takarazuka Revue's new musical, might be something to do with the Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum. It is located in the city, too. In "Sayonara no Tsubasa," some of his characters appear; Atom (Astro Boy), Black Jack, Melmo, and even Hyoutantsugi. Macross may have something a little to do with Tezuka Production. According to the interview below, the company is handling with some licenced items about Macross, Evangelion and so on. http://www.spotlight-news.net/news_dVVNt8YSHi.html

They say one sample model of Yamamoto is now shown at Volks Hobby Tengoku in Akiba according to the "Akiba Jigoku!" web site. Well, "Tengoku" (Heaven) and Jigoku (Hell), hmm.

Now I am in front of Tokyo Anime Center Official Shop. And noticed that picture has changed. Takarazuka? Why? The next one is the Takarazuka musical or some sort?

I like the character casting. Especially Mio Akiyama as Mio Sanada (Sasha). Mugi-chan=Maho, Azu-nyan=Yuria, Yui-chan=Yuki, Ricchan=Yamamoto?

After watching "Q," it reminded me of EoE (The End of Evangelion). So Evangelion-ish, imo. I went to see EoE about 16 years ago at the local theater. After the screening, a school boy asked his friend, "hey, can you understand?" I remember it so much because I and he shared the same thought at that time...

You know, no matter how much the members in Japan have said it before, the guys who couldn't understand it can't understand it for good. They may be used to watching Youku and Baidu, so don't care about copyright things at all... Well, once I found it, I would inform it to the contents holders by way of ACCS (Association of Copyright for Computer Software). http://www2.accsjp.or.jp/piracy/ After their anger, the police would do the right thing. Personally, I regard fansubbers as the traitors for Japanese otakus. Not only the law.

Nobody has not point this out yet? Everybody should know MF was aired at the early hours. From about 1:30~2 am. Considering that, the popularity of Macross including MF in Japan was/ is not so bad. Even though the rival animes, Code Geass R2 and Gundam 00, were so strong, MF has been releasing its products. Both of them were aired in the evening, but not so popular nowadays. Now, nobody is talking about G00, and I wonder where have many Geass fans gone to? Akito is not so popular in comparison with Lelouch.

Macross in the weirdest places

Yes, Kongobuji (金剛峯寺). Kongo (金剛)=Vajra=Diamond. Bu (峯)=summit. And lotus is the symbol of Buddhism. I have been to Kawasaki-Daishi Temple for Yakuyoke(厄除け). Koubou-Daishi appears in a proverb. "Even Koubou sometimes made a mistake in writing" ≒ "Even Homer sometimes nods." -

In case of basara as the attitude or the lifestyle, Nekki Basara=basara≒kabuki-mono≒kabuki Actor=Alto Saotome, hm. The word "Vajra" came from the ancient Indian language, by way of ancient China, to Japan. The tools are used by Shingon-shu Buddhist priests. Kuukai (Koubou-Daishi) brought it from China to Japan about 1,200 years ago? Hmmmmm, I have no idea. Even Wikipedia doesn't tell it in detail. http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E9%87%91%E5%89%9B%E6%9D%B5 -

But according to it, Vajra doesn't have so much relation with the word "basara." Basara reminds me of basara zamurais like Sasaki Douyo in Taiheiki and Maeda Keiji in the Sengoku era. Are there any Rekijos here? They could answer it in detail. -

"Vajras." I found them in Shinjuku. Vajra is originally the tool's name Buddhist priests use in the ceremonies, and also means "Diamond." -

What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v4.0
antibiotictab replied to wolfx's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Real world "Love Touch?" It is a parody of the real game, "Love Plus." (But it never works on PSs...) http://www.konami.jp/products/loveplus/info.html In the actual "Love Plus" game, "Manaka Takane" appears. You see, Kirino called the character in Love Touch, "Ayaka-chan." "Ayase " + "Manaka" = "Ayaka." And the VA of Ayase, Ayaka in Oreimo, and Manaka in Love Live is the same person, Saori Hayami. I love this kind of the character casting. I have already watched ep. 3 on TV last Sunday (Saturday midnight). Also a good one, so I highly recommend it. -
What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v4.0
antibiotictab replied to wolfx's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Nope. I have not watched the TV program yet, but should have watch it because many fans praise it. It started from April, 2011. But just before 1 month ago, the Mikupa concert held in Odaiba was no good. That was produced by 5pb. So I didn't expect the anime made by the same company. That was the reason why I didn't watch it. Chiyomaru Shikura, the founder of 5pb. is actually a very talented person, but should not be arrogant, imo. -
I didn't know Zenkaikon, but I know Otakon. The latter was introduced by a TV program in Japan. Mr.Fukuoka, the chief editor of Weekly Ascii Magazine told about it in the morning news show on Tokyo MX TV last year. From 2:18(Japanese only). I talked with a Otakon staff in Tokyo International Anime Fair last year. I could not do it again this year because the booth joined in the business day only. They obviously want to have some connection with Japan. And I heard Otakorp, Inc., which runs Otakon, has a Japanese staff. Otakon seems to know the Japanese otaku culture so well in comparison with the others, I think.
