  1. Watching a two-hour movie once to kill time is so different. They are used to watching many animes. Some of them are competing the count how many animes they have watched. Even though many chances to learn a language, some does not even try to do it... They know some news from Anime News Network, but it is a little late. (Well, now it get much faster than it used to be. I know the reason why, but I will never say about it.) If they subscribed some Japanese sites, they would know it so early. Well, it got so off-topic. At least when I see a guy who make no effort, I will deal with him as such a guy.
  2. Hasegawa revealed what they would display at the exhibit. There are no VF-25s. http://www.hasegawa-model.co.jp/hp/event/2013/shs/shs2013.pdf A prototype? May be. But such an item will definitely be photography/ video recording prohibited. The next chance may be Wonder Festival 2013 Summer on July 28th.
  3. Yeah, Shironeko (White Cat). No one might have noticed, but Haruka Chisuga acted in the ep. 5. Here's the picture. I wonder if she wants to be both a VA and a singer. I watched Code Geass: Akito the Exiled. Better than I had expected. Maaya Sakamoto's new character is good and she may be the key person of the story. During the first 5 minutes or so, my chest pained and I devoted to the story easily. I am looking forward to the sequel because both C.C. and Suzaku appear in the preview of the ep. 2. My favorite animes now on airing are Yamato2199, Gargantia, Red Data Girl, and Oreimo. RDG is a good one, but when you watch it, you need the knowledge about Buddhism (especially Esoteric Buddhism), Shugendo, and Onmyodo (The Way of Yin and Yang). It's no easy for westerners to understand them. I didn't like Madoka Magica, but Gargantia is good. This time, Urobuchi's story is detailed, and I love it.
  4. Did anyone inquire Arcadia for the Macross products? Here's Arcadia's official tweet today. "Mr.K" suddenly appeared and said hello to the followers. At least he belongs to the company. You know what it means. Or the company has been checking MW? I don't know it for sure. P.S. He says he won't be able to go to Shizuoka.
  5. Why some guys who call themselves "anime fan" always want sub, sub, sub, saying gimme, gimme, gimme out side of Japan? Never buy it and never learn Japanese. So weird. I am surprised that many non-Japanese speak Japanese nowadays. The rate has obviously increased. I am used to seeing such people in Japan, the guys who never make effort to learn another languages are so dependent and lazy, I think.
  6. The 52nd Shizuoka Hobby Show will soon be held. http://www.hobby-shizuoka.com/index.htm The Macross related items may be handled with only Hasegawa and Bandai. Arcadia is not on the list. The first 2 days are only for the buyers and the press. The news about the new industrial products will be come on May 16th. As far as I know, Hasegawa's VF-1 new paint, VE-11 Thunder Seeker and Bandai's VF-1 may be shown at the venue. I will go there on 18th and see those new products and many completed goods by the amateur modelers. Looking forward to seeing VF-1 Riders' booth and Kanto Sakemochi-kai's one. Aside from the Macross items, the Yamato 2199 and Girls und Panzer ones may increase this time.
  7. Without "9.0 mega," I would never get mad. Obviously unnecessary words. I will avoid coming to this thread.
  8. This sample model may be shown in Mega-Hobby EXPO 2013 on 25th, May. The exhibit is held by Megahouse. Yamamoto's one will probably be shown because one of the samples is already being shown at Volks Hobby Tengoku now. I also went to Treasure Fest Ariake 9 last week, but I didn't watch this garage kit. I took some pictures of the garage figures there.
  9. Yup. As for me, Unsho Ishizuka's name reminds me of Bunta Fujiwara of Initial D. Here's Tenjin-san's tweet.
  10. For 4 months and you don't have to rush. Money? Hmm. We need some LCCs across the Pacific. Some Asian fans can come to Japan easily thanks to the Low Cost Carriers like Air Asia and Jetstar and so on nowadays.
  11. Maaya Sakamoto again. How many animes does she play in recently? I wonder if this Arcadia was designed by Miyatake-san or not. Have nothing to do with Studio Nue this time? Oguri was Akio in Wangan Midnight. This is not his first experience as a VA. Hm. Sounds not bad. Kiyoshi Kobayashi and Chikao Ohtsuka... Wow... These old men are great VAs... Kobayashi-san is the only one original VA of the main character of Lupin the 3rd, right? As Jigen.
  12. Nikkansports says 1,500 fans gathered, but at a glance of the venue, not so many people were there, imo. http://www.nikkansports.com/entertainment/news/f-et-tp0-20130507-1123741.html P.S. I had this fan. From Natalie. http://natalie.mu/music/news/90152
  13. She sang 4 (or 5) songs. I don't know all of them. The last 2 songs were the new songs released tomorrow, she said. Just 30 minutes.
  14. Niconico live from Fire BomBAR is now airing. http://live.nicovideo.jp/watch/lv136685476
  15. For members in the Kansai district. The anime event "Machi Asobi Vol.10" is now being held in Tokushima. The anniversary train tickets are sold. One of them is Macross characters'. The others are Fate/Zero's and The Idol Master's. Still available, but until tomorrow. Anyone go across the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge?
  16. Gubaba. Ah, I recognized. What he said was just a "Careless Whisper." lol
  17. He's just trolling. Whatever. ┐('~`;)┌
  18. Major Focker, Marzan. Hmm. I gotta watch it... When I came back from Otome Road in Ikebukuro home one day, I noticed Cinema Sunshine and took these photos. If only I have watched the TV program, I could buy the ticket and go into the theater...
  19. I didn't notice MP music was remastered one at that time. Even though it was actually remastered one, it was just like Beatles' remastered CDs released in 2009. Not so better than I had expected. "It was good for the comparison," I wrote like this on my Facebook page in this morning. So differs from that of MF's. You decide. I am looking forward to your own impression.
  20. The detailed reports will be come by Tochiro and the other members after May 10th, I just want to write the impression without spoilers. Macross Plus. The impression has changed thanks to the large screen. Macross the movies should be watched in the theater. More powerful than I have expected. The peculiar scenes I pointed out in Speaker PODcast 7 before are not so bad, I felt. Imo, the music also should be remastered. The Dolby sound system doesn't be used so well, i.e. some percussion parts are obscure. I thought Yoko Kanno's music has been influenced by many other musicians' works. And wonder what her true original style is. In MP, so John Williams-ish, but in MF, I didn't feel like that. I thought 2 tunes resemble the other artists' ones. The one is just like Pat Metheny's "Above the Treetops." And the other is like Masayoshi Takanaka's "Ready to Fly." The first 50 seconds or so. http://youtu.be/zXzgJOhjA3I DYRL. It was the BD version, so the "gro" scenes are censored. Some pieces of dust on the cells and the digital noise are a bit highlighted. And the scenes sometimes looked out of focus. This one is not for the screening with other Macross movies, I thought. But If it were shown alone, it would be not so bad. Itsuwari. After watching DYRL, the technology of animation, especially CGI is so different. Its sound is also great. When Sheryl called Alto, the voice could be heard from the right speaker only. Yes, the 5.1 sound system is actually used. I re-confirmed I really like MF. The directions are so great, really great... Gundams never do like those. I would remember some other things, but I just wrote down my impression for the time being. Good morning...
