    I want him to be the latter. I have just talked about it with a member here yesterday. Our thought is that his anime often becomes preachy. As an animator, he is great. I liked Urusei Yatsura TV so much. I also liked the first GitS movie, even though it was preachy. But "Innocence" was hmmmm for me. IMO, he is just like an old Yamakan..

    According to MyAnimeList, "Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ Maji Love 2000%" sold 54,460 copies of its BDs/ DVDs in one week. http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=624685 Wow... the Utapri season 2 became a very strong rival of Attack on Titan... I watched all the episodes of the season 1 and 10 of the season 2. TBH, I like the season 1 more. Sometimes so funny but sometimes serious, and it's so amusing. It's not for female fans only. I've just finished the ep. 1 of "Tamayura More Aggressive" on TV. I thought the opening theme of it, Maaya Sakamoto's new song was composed by Yumi Mattouya, but it's not. It is Taeko Ohnuki's song. And the ending theme is sung by Megumi Nakajima. The heartwarming stories come back.

    Japan has been suffering from a long term recession from 1991, on the other hands, America got their pride back because they won the Cold War; the USSR disappeared. People in America had been being terrified by the nukes from Russia. I still remember they were talking about "The Day After" in 80s. But Americans look no care about it nowadays. Even some 'Muricans pride themselves to have the nukes too much and are arrogant. I.e. Nick Levasseur. I wonder why they don't worry about the counter attack recently??? At least, Americans in 80s were afraid of it...

    Akina's health condition is now not good and the contract problem is sensitive. So they didn't mention her, I guess. And as I said to you before, Akina became so popular suddenly in August 1982, so the influence of her was not so big for the early episodes of SDFM. It started October 1982. Because of Oil Shock in 1974, American cars had become no popular, and in 1982 , the "invasion" of Japanese cars was so remarkable. Moreover, so many British songs hit the chart all over the world in 1982. The pride of Americans blew away at the time. So many Americans lost their pride then not only because of Vietnam... Many Americans may not want to hear that, but the longing towards America disappeared all over the world in 1982. The year was so impressive for me...

    Ah, I see. Actually expensive, and some DVDs/ BDs for America are sold in Akiba much cheaper than those for Japan. I bought many imported CDs from Amazon.co.jp. But I want to say, Japan-made CDs/ DVDs/ BDs are actually expensive, because "that's how it is" and you should be adapted. Well, it's gonna be controversial again. They will definitely buy them even though they were so expensive, because Japanese anime fans are incredibly enthusiastic. Even though a slump, only the otaku market was booming. For instance, after K-on the movie, the London tours of JAL were easily sold out. 250,000 yen for each, not cheap, but many fans went to the places where HTT members went to in the movie, you know. "That's how they are."

    I wonder what kind of information this console shows. I am qurious. The fly-by-wire system was not so popular in aviation in the early 80s. But the mecha designer had already known it and adopted, right? I have a DVD about B-747-400. It was shot in the early 90s, and the system was just like brand-new in the commercial airplane. So interesting.
