Hey, I have a quick question. I heard you guys are adding macross stuff from the Macross movie (DYRL). Are you going to add the movie SDF-1 too? I love that SDF-1.

This isn't an answer, more like I'm in complete agreement with you. I've always said Robotech is the ugly girlfriend you thought you loved until she introduced you to your hot wife and dumped her. Adding to the analogy, Gundam your ugly ex-girlfriend's new man that you just can't understand why she'd go out with and you can't understand why you care.

Macross Δ (Delta) - announcement thread
Astralith replied to renegadeleader1's topic in Movies and TV Series
Horrible thought... what if we get a cross-series comedic show with SD characters and mecha in the same vein as Teen Titans Go! Another speculation... The cultural rift between M-Frontier and M-Galaxy may have foreshadowed future colonial conflicts like the 17th century English, Spanish and French Empires (Dutch too but not so much). There's a TRIANGLE!- 2715 replies

Macross Δ (Delta) - announcement thread
Astralith replied to renegadeleader1's topic in Movies and TV Series
(Sigh) I was REALLY hoping for a redux of Macross combining DYRL and the SDF series or something like Macross The First. I'm still happy something's in the works though. Delta... Triangle... I see what they did there. On the plus side, maybe we'll get a BLUE CHRONOS!- 2715 replies

I've owned an Alto VF-25 renewal and Hikaru VF-1J v2.0 for about a year now. Love them... No issues. I just bought a 30th Ann Hikaru VF-1S and its FALLING APART!!! Little tabs are shearing off. A missile hard point came off. The leg swing bar doesn't "click" in and just falls out the door in Battroid mode so I can't transform it right!!! Since I actetone welded the hard point on the seller won't refund my $190(ish) or exchange it. I'm so mad I feel I have to stop collecting to avoid gambling my money on Yamato stuff. Is the the darker VF-1 line (which strangly feels a gram heavier) made of a brittle ABS plastic as opposed to my bright white and sturdy VF-1J?

Thank you for the speedy reply USAGIZ. I brashly pushed ahead with my own fix before I read it though. I spot welded it with a droplet of acetone to melt the ABS plastic (holding firmly in place with the flat of my hobby knife to avoid sticky fingers) and a bead of styrofoam as a solder and then a drop of glue too. It took about an hour to dry. She's locked and loaded ;-)

I just bought the 30th Ann Hikaru VF-1S. One of the missile hard points snapped off. Do I glue it on? If so, what glue? Acetone weld? Anybody want to sell me a starboard wing? HELP!!!

I suspect the movie Veritechs will be closer to Bay's Starscream instead of our beloved VF-1s. But I'm on the fence as to whether I like that or hate it. On one hand, I'd much rather have a Macross movie true to the art than a Robotech movie that reinvents everything. On the other hand, I like the idea of going to my local Toys R Us to buy a $30 Veritech. Also, if by some miracle this is a hit, I can look forward to watching it on Blu-Ray without subtitles and shifting my attention away from Macross like a fan-whore.

I hope that in the next installment they introduced human-piloted mecha derived from Cybertronian technology. Then I hope the sell great toys and video games featuring them. That way I can by buy variable vehicles for under $100 and play games with transforming vehicles on-line in English... Basically affordable English Macross.

I agree. To be blunt, if English is so popular that its included in the game and the series and Playstation 3 sells like hotcakes in the English speaking world then why not have an English setting in the game. Not even voice overs. Subtitles and settings are fine. It's just stupid.

Why do Japanese products like these mix Include any English at all? Why the use of English numbers and Valkyrie names and such? It's kind of irritating, like a tease. They have the ability to add an English setting but just won't.

Ahhhh.... I would have gone with orange too.... Unique. If you did make more, what would you ask for them? $500? Is that Balsa? Nice photo work too. You're either a professional carpenter or photographer or elf. Put in a good word for me. I was good this year. -

That is fenonimal (and I don't recall ever using that word in a sentence... Ever). Are those Lego Technic (Bionicle) ball joints in the leg-nose cone connection?! EDIT. OMG. .. The legs aren't connected to the nose cone! They're behind it. Clever! -
