  1. There's a '69(?) around where I live that's been done in dark green metallic that looks positively EE-VIL--in a good way. It was sitting on some fat meats--245 and 265 BFGs, IIRC. That dark green really popped, it looked very much the part of the street bruiser...
  2. I dunno, but the "layman engineer" in me thinks that on all but the ultra-high-speed, glass-smooth European tracks, that design layout will create handling dynamics that will best be described as: absolute sh*t . The term: terminal understeer just keeps coming to mind...
  3. The Aircraft vs thread appears to have been locked so... or maybe it does go here, since it's a "parking" issue? but anyways. I don't care if it is just one; you gots to be one bad mutha fu**a, when you can say you've got your own private air force parked out in front of da house!
  4. Indeed, the disposition of this "1/1 model" after May 6 is something that should be of keen interest to many...

  6. Ugh! Hadn't seen any shots from the rear perspective yet. Something off about the shape of that rear windscreen, looks out of place.
  7. ouch... One of the tragic consequences, I suppose, in dealing with that particular point in history. Now that most of that generation is passing away from us, it's much more likely that people will just fill-in-the-blanks; tell their own interpretation of the story, instead of just telling what happened to the people who were actually there. I know: history is usually told from the "winner's" point of view to begin with. but still... ed: oh well--I guess I'll just go back and youtube that old ep of Dogfights
  8. They'll have my attention when someone builds a decent looking MOSPEADA Cyclone. Until then....
  9. Mongol General: Conan! What is best in life? Conan: Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women. F*CK YEA.... ed: oh yeah--Conan the Destroyer oughta go on this list as one of the worst....'s like the wan**ers who made it didn't even bother watching the first one.
  10. Oh for the love of... [again]
  11. Ferrari's building ugly cars? Lotus is building big, heavy, complex cars for all weather driving, including in the snow? The world's gone topsy turvy! Again!
  12. IIRC, the mahq database doesn't list any output/performance differences between Legioss models. Is the ONLY difference between -H, -I and -Z the head design and color schemes?
  13. Like the greenhouse. Definitely do NOT like the fascia and sides treatment(s). But it's kinda like they know they can get away with building an ugly car.... "cause we're fu**ing Ferrari, man."
  14. Syd Mead....is he still credited as the guy who single-handedly almost derailed the entire Gundam franchise?
  15. Meh. My 2 year old likes these better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwCOG-2ORrc +bonus: these are just as intellectually stimulating as Bay's diarrhea-on-film-stock. ed: this guy's also worked his way up to a 4th installment.
  16. This thread may have gone off on an ah'd-pack-myself-uh tangent before; but, what the heck.... and for close(er) in work: then of course, you'll need: also always been fascinated with naginata, for more stand-off work. but I doubt that finding one would be practical, under those circumstances...
  17. Bloody awesome. I'm sure the creator is like: FU*K YEA
  18. kinda cook, in that ooh-like-right-out-of-the-movie kind of way. looks damned uncomfortable, though. ed: LOL, "now just relax, Mr. Anderson, and try to breathe deeply..."
