  1. So wait a minute. The people who played Ford Brody and his wife in Godzilla are now going to be playing Quicksilver and his sister in the next Avengers movie? FFS--is there no one else looking for work in Hollywood?
  2. See? You can hot rod just about any damn thing. The slam's a bit too much; ride height's just a little too low. Otherwise, it damn near pulls it off. ed: wait a sec; nvm, I bet it's on air bags.
  3. Nah; chopped roof, fer sure. Heheh--who cares if it's comfortable? as long as it looks cool, baby.
  4. Scent of a nice clean car interior; mixed with the (slight) scent of racin' gas; mixed with the scent of a pretty woman; godda*n slice o' heaven that is, I'd say.
  5. Dude. Why are these guys not in the booth with DW? I might actually want to watch a NASCAR race then... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LUvPtoIiK4
  6. Wasn't about to start a new thread over this, wasn't sure where it should go. Just. My. God. http://petapixel.com/2014/07/13/satirical-facebook-post-sparks-outrage-stephen-spielberg-hunting-triceratops/ I laugh out loud. But it's a reflexive action. Otherwise, I'd be crying. My heart and my soul weep at the thought: these people are most likely breeding...
  7. Yesterday's over-the-top is (sadly) today's just-about-the-norm. This is one dystopian future flick that was disturbingly accurate in some of its estimations of our societal decay. The in-movie news broadcasts of violence, mayhem and disorder sound an awful lot like some of the crap you can tune in and see on any network news channel at-home nowadays... and there's this one. Still funny to me; they missed it by just one letter:
  8. Okay, what's wrong with that? That sounds about right. Aw, I'm just fu*kin' with ya.
  9. Any pics from other angles for that Saleen? Initial response, from seeing the front end only: [looks like something from] Chrysler
  10. If MoS was all about Zod, the burden of being more-than-human, fallout from Krypton's fate, etc; and DoJ is (apparently) going to be all about the much wanted World's Finest-esque face off between Bats and Supes--then that isn't going to leave much (meaningful) room for developing Lex Luthor as Superman's preeminent archrival, is it? Hah! I like that; I hope that name sticks.
  11. Nice. Subtle, yet aggressive. Like the chin spoiler. Man, I could stare at one of these all day. Just something about Astons and their unabashed cool-ness. Sex on wheels Although; I think I prefer the DBS to the new Vanquish, subtle as their differences may be. I don't care if they are the red-headed stepchild of the (original) super car community; I like 'em.
  12. Hehe, that was awful. But that trailer for Godfather 1 & 2 was f'king. Awe!Some! Like it's one of those (movies) that transcends, i.e. so bad, it's good. It looks like it could attain a level of guilty pleasure sh*ttyness that might even approach that of Kung Fury.
  13. I've been meaning to check this show out for no other reason than being curious to see if SFX technology has progressed enough to allow for reasonably convincing "angel's wings" on-screen on human actors. *thinks back to films like Barbarella and Flash Gordon, shudders*
  14. Oi! When they finally perfect tech like that of Oculus Rift(?), to allow for more direct sensory stimulation (approaching something like that inferred in Brainstorm), that there is gonna be the f'in e-ticket ride, me boyos... ed: (not to mention, the porn industry will then surely and truly control the world)
