Bandai/Tamashi Nations 1/100 lineup. 2009 takeoff!
GRAND CANNON replied to UN Spacy's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Damashii is supposed to have non-linear scale system, so the Gundam releases should be in scale to one another, but not to scale with the Geass figures and so on.... Whether they Damashii Valks would be in scale to the VF100s? Who knows, but they would probably be real close. Graham's recollection of being Battroid only would make sense, but yeah, the Nirvash can change modes and they are probably not too worried about part-swapping (the Nirvash sure looks like it has). Meh, we'll wait and see. Until then, I can't wait to see the other VF100 releases! -
Bandai/Tamashi Nations 1/100 lineup. 2009 takeoff!

Another photo-gallery page: http://d.hatena.ne.jp/type97/20090228 The 'top-of-the-box-checklist-thing is pretty cool. Nice way to see/hope/dream of what may come: I'm thinking this is the substitute for the ROBOT 魂 (DAMASHII) line. Recall that Macross Frontier was one of the four series hyped along with Gundam, Code Geass and Eureka 7. Frontier is actually still seen on their line-up page and they had the proto-sculpt displayed at the line's release: Even though Bandai is no stranger to flooding the market with the same figures through different lines, ahem RX-78, I can't see them releasing the VF100s and then follow with a Damashii release, especially in this day and age. Of course, I'm not saying flooding the market with valks is a bad thing.... -
Unfortunately, no. The last ones solicited are those two Supers and the stand-alone O-Rasier.

New Damashii info: R-022 <SIDE MS> GN-000 0 Gundam - Gundam 00 - (5/2009) R-023 <SIDE MS> GNZ-003 Gadessa (Healing Care’s Custom) - Gundam 00 - (5/2009) R-024 <SIDE LFO> Nirvash Type ZERO spec 2 - Eureka 7 - (6/2009) R-025 <SIDE MS> XM-X1 Crossbone Gundam X-1 - Crossbone Gundam - (6/2009) R-026 <SIDE MS> XM-X2 Crossbone Gundam X-1 - Crossbone Gundam - (7/2009) R-027 <SIDE MS> ???? (?/2009) R-028 <SIDE KMF> ???? (?/2009) It is encouraging that this line is stretching into many series with 00, ∀, a tease of 0083 and now Crossbone. With Crossbone's smaller size, will it also open the door to Victory suits? Full list in siggy.

Nice collection!

Who says we haven't already? As far as the Death God, I don't think it has anything to do with newtypes or non-newtypes, it's just a part of war.
-
I don't think you can find the program anymore since they shutdown, but no worries, I'll do Ep 3 when it comes out -- on April 24!! Man, what a long wait!
-
Well, long story short.... I have a Mac and, although I could watch them, I like to burn the episodes to a DVD and watch them on the TV. I had a site in which someone would convert them for me, but he went out of business. I then found VisualHub and I be happy!! Unfortunately, they have also left the scene, but it's been working great for me. Very "nice and easy": drag the MKV into the program, check it off to run through Quicktime which adds the subs, wait a while and all done!! Then post the upload link here and spread the love!!
-
No problem!! I re-encoded Ep 2 last week and forgot to upload, but here it is now in all of its 876MB glory: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=B6F6MM19 Enjoy!!!

Which subs do you guys prefer?

Just watch the Ep 2 DVD of Igloo2, damn! What an awesome series. And I had no idea what they were saying!! Although it wouldn't subscribe to marketing plans without five million different mobile suits and flashy characters, I'd much prefer cell animated Igloo-style mini-series over the glam-bam series anyday! al la 08th MS Team Individual series that follow specific units in some obscure campaigns during the One-Year-War and subsequent conflicts, just imagine.......- 3717 replies

-
That's what the info said when it was first announced. Will have to wait until either closer to its release in March or after it's been released to see just how much and where the metal content is.
-
Subbed episodes are starting: http://www.tokyotosho.com/search.php?terms...back&type=0 Only skimmed the episode so far, but doesn't look too bad.....

As you can see on the link, it's a mix of the three types, ABS, PVC, and POM. Which parts are which and how much probably depends on what figure it is. They appear to more 'crisper' than the MSIAs and have gotten pretty decent reviews.
-
Successor to the Mobile Suit In Action and In Action!! Offshoot lines incorporating new material design technology. In other words, just another reason to release 1,000 more verisons of the RX-78-2 Gundam!
-

Great intro post to the updated list (still have to update some gallery pics, though): I am doubting the VF-25 being released with the VF100s hitting the shelves, but you never know....
