`Just got a VF-19P and a VF-11B from HKCollectibles. They both had the BW stickers. Great customer service too by the way! (I don't work for them, nor do i get commission!)

It's not so much the steps as the fact that a few of them require "sweet spot" pressure, instead of nicely falling into place as they do now in the VF-19 s.

Especially going from battroid back to fighter takes A LOT of patience.

I got a P from an eBay seller and it arrived horribly packed with bumped corners, then the figure had a paint chip and two small areas of overspray, or paint transfer, whatever you call it. I contacted them and they never replied until i contacted them again 4 days later saying that i was gonna keep it. Then they replied saying, yeah ok whatever. I had decided to get another, which i wanted anyway, so now i'm not sure who to trust! I've been considering Amazon too. The absurd thing is that i had got an F, from another eBay seller, and that arrived with a slightly deformed right wing. That eBay seller however was very helpful and they replied quickly about returning it. PS I'm not going to name and shame that seller publicly, but i will say who it is if anyone PMs me!

Okay silly question: Did anyone buy their VF-19P from HKCollectibles? If yes, how was the QC?

If you don't mind the small premium there's a ton of preorders for the VF-25F at Yahoo japan auctions for 19,000 YEN, so a total of 22,000 before shipping with fees. Which is about half of what i had paid!
-
Actually i had a great night's sleep myself, because i wasn't planning on pre-ordering a third one. However the way you speak "felt an inch on my right nut", makes me sad i even attempted to give you another viewpoint! *shivers* Enjoy :-)

To be honest, you don't go to someone's funeral- which is how it feels for a lot of people who can never get even 1 piece- and say "in yoo face". Who gives a crap if it sounds "cool", it was really inconsiderate towards other members. I'm not saying the fact that you got 2 makes you inconsiderate, because i had bought 2 of the first issue for a huge premium (way more than 5000YEN over RRP) and that was my choice, but i never mentioned it because again it would be inconsiderate when everyone posts how badly they wanted but could not afford one. As for whether you plan to make money or not, i don't doubt you, but the sales thread will prove it.

That $140 might, just might, cover the shipping.

The trapdoor under the cockpit where the crotch locks in. It didn't look dangerous so i'm sure it will be ok.

The one with the stress mark? Saw that one too, but it put me off.

NO, it's not... pretty moderate compared to the VF-19P: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Macross-Dynamite-Perfect-VF-19P-Planet/dp/B008S99F6A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1364974843&sr=8-1 :-)

I had sent an e-mail in japanese to Alter regarding one of their products. They never even replied. I should not have said that i live in the UK :-)

I'm sorry but if a Hasbro VF-17 had the manufacturing standards of the Masterpiece line, then, well, what can i say? Not much point!

And to think that i'm actually a bit anal about the mintiness of my collectables. I've got a P coming... i hope it turns out ok, otherwise it will be on its way back!

Just when you think it will never happen to you... again... i got my VF-19F and as a couple of others members had reported with theirs, mine arrived with the back edge of the right wing also showing a minor ding - why is it the right wing in all cases? The first time i went over it i didn't even notice it. I've had very good QC with my purchases in 2012 and so far in 2013, so it was my time i guess. Do you think i can contact Arcadia for a replacement wing?

It's funny that you mention it because that's exactly what i thought: when i bought the VF-4G (actually two of them) they were much cheaper each. It felt so wrong.

Just got a VF-11C for only... $450, shipped... but it was from a japanese retail distribution company (or else the black market) and brand new, with refund available if there's a defect. Since Yamato boxes do not come sealed, and having spent so much on it, i'd rather have that for my peace of mind.
-
Okay so you beat me, but mine has been for the month of March ALONE VF-19F, (would have skipped this) VF-19P, VF-17D with packs (would have skipped this) and looking for VF-11C.

The most tactical purchases in fact were my VF-1 weathering versions. I wanted them, but because i didn't want to end up purchasing the same models more than once i just got those when i found them. I generally don't play much with my valkyries, so i tend to buy the rarer release.

Aargh... don't say such things!

Hi guys, Anyone who owns this since 2010, how is it holding up? For a brand new one i would have to spend serious money so i'm hoping someone can deter me... :-P. Is the skull white plastic prone to yellowing? PS. I never wanted a VF-11c until i realized it was going to be even harder now getting one = macross collector's logic! D
