  1. You always come thru. I'm sure we all understand that "life" gets in the way of hobbies. So no worries.
  2. I'm afraid that I wont be able to maximize the sculpting skills of the Capt'n with my meager skills. But still, I await the updates.
  3. Is your new site up and running yet?
  4. Thanks for the update. What software do you use when modeling? Even if detail is lost in the smaller scale, the more agressive look would stand out and have people asking "so Etching is different, just can't put my finger on it." Can't wait to see you prints when you get them. Keep us posted please.
  5. Great save. I was never good at decals. But now, I think I'm gonna try the future route.
  6. Will this be available in 1/72? I don't own any 1/60 scale figures.
  7. I see macross II characters in there. That's cool. Great determination.
  8. Seems like the link isn't working. But the main page says that they are moving, so maybe that has something to do with it.
  9. If you do a heavy weathering, I say larger decals. But if it's subtle then the smaller one is good enough.
  10. What he said!
  11. I agree with the captain. Nice build.
  12. You all bring tears to my eyes. I can't build anything for a few months, and when I can, I don't. that said, I can't wait to see the progress on the SDF
  13. Looking good. Seems to be coming along fairly quickly
  14. That's what people are waiting for, but somethign about the originals being property of someone other than HG ot Tatsunoko is holding it back.
  15. Saw this past weekend. Never saw the original and figured this might get my attention. I enjoyed it. Considering it is CG, it is well done.
  16. Really? I thought there be more. The chopper, tank and Logan. That's it?
  17. I would like to see a hover bike made. But I agree, not a real big market for much masters stuff. Even if they tried to start from scratch, use 3D printing to get off the ground, they will not see a huge return on their investment.
  18. Heard the news as I was on my way home from work. Really sad. This one hit me in the gut. I love Aladdin. Dead Poet's Society is a classic too. I know he found his way to Neverland "Second star to the right and then straight on till morning"
  19. I'm not a Real BIG fan of SC. But I did like the helicopter and hover cycle growing up. I am actually rematch ingredients the masters saga this week. Somehow I remember parts from it from way back in the 80's.
  20. Had they been more forthcoming and actually had answered questions from people in a timely manner, I would think they would have gotten more out of people. One part that bothers me is that HG likes to dance around questions and pretend they gave a satisfactory answer. If HG comes out and says "hey guys, here is what our legal standings are..." and Ho on and let the fans know what they have rights to and what they don't and what lies in that grayish area, then, we all would know facts and comment accordingly. I've read people state that HG has rights to ALL macross, others state that it's only the 3 shows that make up Robotech. It's about time they made it official to their fans that don't have law degrees, or even a higher vocabulary.
  21. Academy is not a really bad idea. HG's lack of honesty, and their lack to follow through with anything solid just didn't evoke the confidence in me to donate. Their childish "enemy spy" tier showed their lack of professionalism that has been there for decades.
  22. Now THAT is the way to do a kickstarter. Sketches, an opening teaser, the creator had everything laid out. Do I see "Robotech Assasins?"
