Awesome builds. I keep resisting the urge to open the box of model kits and get started on one, or 2.

Wow. I'm not sure, do I embrace it or set it on fire. -
killed off by a c&d letter allegedly from HG. The guys have yet to post any concrete evidence. Now they are going forward with their own designs of mecha that are not associated with Robotech. It WAS a good project tho.

Lego one is way more entertaining. I'd watch that one with my nephews.

Great workshop. Cleaner than my garage. Great progress, it is awesome.

Is there any way to make a Mospeada modeling section somewhere on the site. It seems everything mospeada is bundled up together. Or, a "other anime" model section?

If you follow some of the build posts, you know that WM Cheng is one of those builders at the top og the mountain. His input holds its weight in gold... With that said, Hasegawa is better in the sculpt. Their attention to detail makes it an easier build, and if you don't want to go all out and use putty and get everything perfect, out of the box builds are great.

The Vallejo color makes it pop.

http://www.paper-replika.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4174:robotech-legioss-afc-01-papercraft&catid=39&Itemid=201646 If you scroll down right above the comments section and the FB like tab, you will find the link to the download. On the following page, agree to the terms and the download starts automatically. I have downloaded it, and unzipped the .pdo files (which open on the pepakura viewer- link to the freeware is on the top paragraph) No viruses or trojans. -

Yea, that one. Any more pics of it in detail? I am itching to try and build one similar to it. -
That blog is freakin cool. I love the paint scheme you chose. Outstanding work.

Ive done a few years ago. It was a learning experience to say the least. I do agree that it is a lot cheaper and aside from the ink wasted, there is little cost. Now a days, all my printing is done by my wife at her job. So even that, the only cost is time and glues. I will have to look at my old files for the ones I have downloaded. Aside from the macross files, they also included WW1 biplanes and some jets. -

That paint scheme on the red one is wicked. I like it. I have a few models, still in their box, that one day will get built. -
why do you guys make want to hate hg with a passion? Wait, they're doing a great on their own
-
Holy cow. I never thought toys could look so fugly. Yea, $$ is all they see, not details. I love Robotech, but not liking HG too much right now.

Even the Exo figures I see. awesome. I can wait til mother nature cooperates. -
Probably has something to do with their great CG work. Despite the fan film status, their work and new story line didn't make them amateur. Some of their veritech work, and those details that were overlooked could have been easily fixed. Imagine the possibility of an action sequence with the veritechs and battle pods going at it. Would be quite entertaining. I would overlook the blocky veritech all day long (maybe)
