I use CA glue for that. Yes, with a fine tip (toothpick) applicator.

I use double sided tape I get at work. Fontenot the thick 3M kind. It's actually thin and very strong. We use it to tape plastic samples and machine them down to 1/32nd.

It's sad, considering that they even had local tv appearances at the beginning of the project. What was so wrong with HG allowing them to finish the last episode? What a let down

Hmm, if I can spare the cash, after paying the captain for his blueberry crab, I might just be crazy enough to buy this next week. It is pricey but seeing some of the cash I unloaded a few years back on camera gear, I can somewhat justify this buy. Being a Chinese product, are there any concerns about quality or there?

Can I just say, Exo, your 3D skills are awesome. Making me jealous. Can I just order a kidney from shapeways? I'm already down to 1.- 419 replies

According to the statement, it was never intended to be profitable, or for profit. So, why would funding matter now? They would still be able to do it on their spare time.

Scale Model Link Thread for Non Macross builds

I saw a coworker build a b52 out of paper clips. Don't know if he has finished it or not, but the turbines spun, and the controls in the cockpit actually moved stuff. Blew me away. I still think the carrier is way "awesomer"- 80 replies

1 pound! That is a heck of a lot of resin. Great work once again. Are you using the same resin as the pinky crab? The quality of your work is superb. -

Ooh, I hope you didn't take the picture (last one) holding the camera in one hand and the party with the other WHILE the sander was running. Safety first. We all can't have you out of commission too long if you get hurt. Btw, I'm enjoying the updates. -

I'm sure it has required lots of patience from you. The angles from the Canon cannot be machined. Great work so far. -

Oh man. Sorry to hear that Exo. Hopefully that will be the end of your financial speed bumps for this year. -
Oh god! They coulda have done that much simpler. I've put together miniatres for gaming before, and they do not have so many parts. It would be very simple, Body (jet minus wings) apendages (wings, and gun) Then the missels and all. Usually in pewter, but even Games Workshop has started to make their kits in plastic. Even so, there isn't too many parts for an ogre, or space marine. Look at the spartan! for crying out loud. They don't want people to play a game, they want them to build models.

Awesome job. Noticeable difference in both, but both look good.

confused no more... Thanks for the clarification Exo. I had thought anything non-macross would need to go into other anime section, including WIP, and model builds...

I agree with Berttt, without the rant. But I also understand that this is in fact a Macross forum, not Mospeada/Robotech/Cyclones... Without this forum, I wouldn't have actually watched the original Macross. If anyone wants to post models and builds in their respective topics, then there is always the robotech.co m option. you can post anything robotech related there. I prefer this one tho.
