  1. To contine the theme of cute bass players Sivil could play bass and scream. Gavil could have a pink and yellow FBZ-99 variant and occasionally shout "the beauty of synthesis!". As protodevlin i feel their music would naturally be intergalactic extreme black metal, and here's the perfect example of such music, they even have a screaming female bass player:
  2. Those fighter modes look really good, even in pink and yellow. I was unaware of the FZ-109 Kai design.
  3. The AZ-130A looks stunning in attacker mode, it would be good to see it as a gerwalk, i was thinking a good project would be to modify this drawing, assuming the underlying structure is similar: Those battroid drawings above i find the most extreme and ridiculous example of over-enlarged arms and legs, the chest is tiny with huge guns. I agree the proportions would work fine unchanged from fighter/gerwalk modes. These mechs seem to be the most under-appreciated and neglected, it's about time we saw models and toys of the VF-14, AZ-109s, AZ-130A and the beautiful flying wing bomber FBZ-99G. I'm actually very tempted to attept building a transforming LEGO AZ-109.
  4. Haha! Yeah i care about it, it's a beautiful beast. I love the Varauta mecha. I agree the legs and feet are over-enlarged in battroid mode, which actully contributed to me disliking it when i first saw it, i disliked the head too at first. The teeth around the intakes are a brutal touch.
  5. Okay thanks i understand the arm transformation now. I must express how well designed, and coloured, the fast packs and heavy armour modules are.
  6. Wow, beautiful.
  7. I'm really appreciating the Varauta / VF-4 / VF-14 vibe i get from your designs. It's also good to see a variable stealth bomber that actually manages to transform into a sleek stealthy shape (but i haven't yet worked out where the arms go in bomber mode).
  8. Thanks, i'm impressed, i love your transforming designs. I recommend going 'previous' right to the beginning.
  9. The new transformation animation is here http://eastcoastcanuck.deviantart.com/art/VF5000-conversions-317711208?q=gallery%3Aeastcoastcanuck&qo=1 These animations are excellent, yes.

... and seeing as those VTOL nozzles are venting directly onto the upper legs and knees i doubt that would be a hot exhaust but compressed air instead ... ?

Since the main engines can work without air, perhaps the turbines in the intakes are partially or fully redirected to the VTOL nozzles in Gerwalk and are powerful enough to lift the VF ... effectively becoming 4 engines enabling lift independant from forward thrust.

Thanks, and after some research at MMM: "engines utilize air as coolant/propellant in atmosphere" "2 x banks of pivoting slit nozzles (ventral fuselage) for GERWALK mode VTOL" It's a wonderfully complex design. Beautiful. Seeing those intakes there ... i still can't figure out for sure where (in the original design) the jet engines are or how the intakes connect ...
  15. The Macross 2 valkyries are, surprisingly, beautiful futuristic designs, under-appreciated.
  16. I just found this transforming mini YF-19. http://imgbbs.bricks...25910I9Wae&p=16
  17. I had low expectations, but AKB0048 is quality and i'm addicted.

  19. This VF-5000B is much appreciated, thanks for sharing the pictures. Good to hear the VF-14 may be coming .. a favourite of mine.
  20. Gyro balanced electric car / motorcycle hybrid first prototype, can reverse, stays upright even in an accident but can also lean into corners. http://litmotors.com/home/
  21. Yeah me too ... i love the Varauta mecha and the VFs they were based on. Your plans sound awesome. So good to see this model.
