I was just on HLJ.com and it says that the YF-19 booster pack is already sold out. Didnt that just come out?? http://www.hlj.com/product/YMT00061 http://www.hlj.com/product/YMT00062 Thankfully, the YF-19 and the VF-1S (Hikaru) are still in stock and I am still able to get those but I just dont understand why the booster pack for the 19 is already gone. Or is HLJ not reliable like that?

Yeah my cousin gave me god of war a few weeks ago and im hooked on it but there is one complaint that I do have with it... AM I THE ONLY PERSON WHO CANT CLIMB THE ROTATING CYLINDER OF DEATH??? Thats where im stuck currently. I just got done with doing the balancing act on all of the rotating poles with blades on them and I got to the part where you have to climb the vertical rotating cylinder to get out of hades (apparently) and for the life of me, I cant beat it. Every time I try it, I either get to the 2nd or 3rd section but I am soon knocked off and then I cant get back onto it. So can someone help me out with this cuz I really want to get through this game but I cant till I get past this.

Can someone explain to me what Early and Late Block mean? I was looking at the Un Spacy Database and looking at the VF-1 Cockpit pictures and it kept saying Early and Late Block and I cant figure out for the life of me what that means.

I found a picture of an F-14 doing air-refueling and Jay lew just happened to have a picture that looked sorta similar so I figured what the hell. Turns out, the boom from the tanker had to be resized insanely big and in order for it to look realistic, the boom had to be stretched to the top of the picture but that wasnt working at all. So I decided to some clouds behind the vf-1 and they look like they were just air brushed on and didnt look real at all. I use paint shop pro 8 and photoshop occasionally only because Im not as familiar with it.

Hey Graham, do you know if this game is still available for download??? I just saw the opening video for the game on you-tube and I think im in love lol. Whats even better is that I have VF style joystick and throttle controllers Heres the youtube video

Yeah I read your post there and I didnt really understand lol but thats ok, im sure I will figure it out. My main problem is finding pictures that mesh with the cg VF-1 and then making it look somewhat realistic. I tried a few last night and I actually found one where an F-14 was refueling with a tanker and jay-lew just happened to have a picture that was somewhat close. Turns out, the cg VF-1 was too big for the picture and I couldnt resize it to make it look real. grrrrr

Would one mind explaining how to do those because I am now hooked on doing those!!! I tried looking for pictures of aircraft carrier decks and I found some good ones, but none that would fit those pictures or work with them. Any suggestions on where to find compatible carrier pictures that work with the VF-1A pictures? BTW: Some different angle shots would have been nice too. Im not knocking your work because you do a fantastic job, but im just saying it would have been nice to have more on top or from bottom pictures or just straight from the side with landing gear up/down and canopy open and closed Awesome job though!!

What I dont get is why they have Roy, Max, Hikaru and Hayo launching from im guessing the prometheus with DYRL colors on their Valks. And on top of that, why it looks like the very first episode when Max and Hayo werent even in it... Either way, IT STILL LOOKS COOL! Makes me wish that they would go back through the entire series and re-do the animation like that. Talk about eye candy! -

Yeah the reason they look so dark is because I did some scan lines over them but photobucket resized the picture to where all of them just look dark. But I actually did think about doing vapor trails or somethin like that, but I dont know how I would do them and I do agree that I should have blurred the drop shadows some more to give em some room between each other. My original plan was to have them in a space scene with planets all around but my computer was running so low on memory that it couldnt keep up with what I wanted, so I said screw it and thats what I got. Like I said, im horrible when it comes to bacgrounds because I couldnt figure out what to do it. If you want, I can give you the orignal copies of each fighter and hopefully, you can come up with something better cuz im drawin a blank on what else to do with them with such limited computer capability.

Yeah Hasegawa line art from the painting guide. Ive seen pictures of them, just not good ones. Im not sure if there is a Hasegawa VF-11 but I havent seen any other good line art for it either.

I never thought about that. Now if only I could find GOOD hasegawa scans of the VF-1 and VF-11, id be in business. I saw the scans that graham did but I need high quality scans and google doesnt turn up anything...

Ya know, I was actually thinkin about that last night. Unfortunatley, the only good pictures I have are of Hasegawa model scans of the VF-0 and YF-19. I looked around for pictures of the VF-1 and VF-11 of the same quality and resolution but couldnt find squat. But layering the 4 models on top of each other had crossed my mind a few times. I even thought about finding mug shots of Roy, Hikaru, someone who flew the VF-11 and Isamu and putting them behind the fighters...just to give it some contrast. But I dont know of any popular character that flew the VF-11 besides Isamu and I was going to put him behind the YF-19 As for the WIP picture, I dont know what else to do with it. When it comes to backgrounds, im not the greatest at it and im thinkin thats whats wrong with the WIP. So if any of you want to make some changes to it or whatever, go right ahead cuz im drawin a blank on what else to do it.

Yeah, I did that one...Thanks for the comment though I need some help with an idea for a new wallpaper though. Ive got pictures of the VF-0S and YF-19 and im trying to figure out some ideas on what to do with them. My original idea was to merge the 2 somehow but that didnt work as well as I liked. So any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are we ever going to see some transformation videos for the 1/48 VF-1's and reviews of the ones that have come out over the past couple of years like the VF-1S (Hikaru), VF-1A (Kakizaki), VF-1A (Angel Birds), Both Low-Viz VF-1A's, GBP Armor (Ver.1), VF-1J, Both Stealth VF-1J's, Low Viz Camo GBP Armor, Urban GBP Armor And what about the reviews and videos for the 1/60 VF-0S and VF-0A???

Am I the only one who has noticed that in battlecry, when you go into battroid mode, that there doesnt appear to be wings on the back? I was playing it today and I found started asking myself, "where are the wings?"
