It is! It's also getting a re-issue. Check out the 1/60 between the 1S-Roy and the 1J 30th Anniversary in the picture, I believe that's a 1S Hikaru.

That's what I'm talking about! I actually wanted to get these WAVE kits just for the box art alone. I really hope Arcadia would consider using box art like these for their upcoming releases, whether it be a VF or a Destroid.

Ok then, I'm sold for one of these. It just makes a lot of sense to include the option parts w/ any releases from here 'til the next name change .

Well, with a tag price of $150 (or more!), you think Arcadia would be including at least that.

Yeah, some more Destroids would be nice. I'd even settle for a re-ish Tomahawk, since I missed out on both variants.

Agreed. A really great box art just definitely adds to the charm of the whole damn thing. I hope Arcadia can come through for us with this.

I'm on the same boat with Loop on this one. I've already got an extra Roy and along with my almost non-existent toy budget, I think I just might have to skip this one. If HLJ were to put it on sale later on like they did w/ the Yammies last year, then maybe I'll pick one up then.

Agreed. That custom 1J looks excellent. Definitely belongs up there with Valkyrie addict's Macross Plus custom 1J.

Thanks, man! Don't worry about not being able to get one right now, because past experiences have shown us that this particular VF-1 variant is very popular and it almost always gets re-issued (i.e, 1/48,1/60). Like you've said, it is just a matter of time -

And here I thought there was something inherently wrong with my TV 1S or the TV FP's that I bought for it. The FP boosters just never seem to sit straight when it's placed on the valk and for the longest time I was under the impression that I may have gotten a lemon or something. Thanks for chiming in guys and for giving this guy a peace of mind.

I wouldn't mind getting a newly tooled 1/48, but it's more likely that they would wanna keep putting stuff out in the 1/60 scale.

Agreed. This is one of the reasons why I never took a liking to the YF-19. That and the fact that the REB-30G head laser sticks out topside in fighter mode, but to each his own I guess.

Excellent work there, Valkyrie addict! I'm not a big fan of the 1J's, but if Arcadia were to put something like this out in the market...I think I just might get me one.
