$193 pre-ordered w/o shipping from HLJ for the regular version, but oh well! It's the only 1S variant in my 1/48 & 1/60 collection, so I think it was worth getting. At least, it was the next best thing to getting a separate strike pack that a lot of us are waiting for but won't seem to be getting anytime soon.

These HI-Metal CF's really need to be outfitted with some Fastpacks. Do we know if Bandai would ever put out some stand alone FPs for their Hi-Metal line?

I've got an Ottoman in the living and this is what I've got displayed on it. Knew that MOOK was good for something else, he-he! All jokes aside, it is a good book. Kinda pricey, but a very good visual reference.

I'm still a 1/48 n' 1/60 lover, but I knew I had to have at least one 1/100 Hi-Metal. Thanks again to DUYMON for the hook up.

Yeah, the Super 1J by Hikaru does not get any screen time, but when you're staring at a 1/48 Yamato Hikaru 1J, one has to admit that it looks pretty bad ass! Hell, I'm not a big fan of the J's but even I am willing to admit it looks good with some Super FP's on !

The 1/48's make for great display pieces no doubt about it. That's why every single one of mine are on display, as oppose to most of my 1/60 V2 that are still in their boxes tucked away in storage someplace. I would definitely buy a V2 1/48 if Arcadia were to release them, but what are the chances, right?
