When I see YAMATO come out with 1/48 VF-1S DYRL MAX, maybe then I'll start hoping to get any of these design on a 1/48 valk !

Been a long time fan of the series 'n DYRL like most of you folks, but never really picked up a toy until the YAMATO 1/60 SUPER VF-1J.

The VF-1 in fighter mode kinda reminds me of a G1 DECEPTICON THRUST . Thanks, but no thanks!

Voted for YAMATO, considering their track record for the last few years. It would be nice to get some new macross-related toys and for them to have the same quality as the most recent 1/48's or 1/60's. But of course, if the upcoming MOSPEADA related stuff from CM's turns out to be of high quality overall, then I wouldn't mind if they put out toys based on the new MAC series,too.

Btw, I really do hope that the final tag price on this particular combo won't be as high as some folks speculate, coz I don't wanna have to sell anymore 1/48's just to be able to get a CM's LEGIOSS/TREAD set .

These prices are what I would pay for if they're MISB condition .

It's gotta be the VF-1 for this guy. It's patterned after the F-14 design and that's what I fell in love with.

Totally agree. We don't wanna add anymore to the mentality of "a 1/48 = model kit" !

It terms of having to fit the Stealth Type Super & Strike Parts, yes, but the yellow trim on the 1S FOCKER clashes with the color of the FP Armor. It looks a lot better on a 1S HIKARU and if you wanna see for yourself, check out JENIUS' posted pics and his reviews .

I believe that on the 1/60 version, the skull marking on the heatshield is not tampo printed, as oppose to 1/48 version that comes factory applied.
