  1. Nice little kits. Check out Sam's thread for the ones he has built: Q-Raus. Good luck! And please share pics when you finish it. And also if you like this kit, remember that MW members 007-VF1 and mslz22 have a re-cast of the 1/72 scale Club M Q-Rau for sale. A lot bigger so you can add a lot more detail! Hope this helps. Melissa
  2. You sure it was the decals from this Minmay Guard Battroid and not the regular Minmay Guard decal sheet from Hasegawa? Confused yet? Seriously though, they are slightly different. Sigh...yes, they will always find a way to get my money!
  3. Yep, has been discussed here: Minmei Guard Battroid. Nice kit though...can't wait to get it! And..Thanks anyway!
  4. He's around! Same screen name and all. (Rohby) You can PM him if you need to ask a question. He probably stays so busy doing his wonderful re-casts that he does not have time to surf a lot. But he is still around...Luckily for us! Hope this helps! Melissa
  5. Somebody got a good deal on a IMHO very nice condition conversion kit!! (with repro decals) I bet whoever she is, she is VERY happy with her new toy!
  6. At least that is half right. You should see some of the pics I have seen on e-bay where people have placed the poor Gakken 1/35 Alpha's in positions neither God nor man ever intended!
  7. son? He had a son? I know they had a daugter but I don't remember any mention of a son. Although if I think really hard....Basara does have Hikaru hair...but then again he also looks a lot like Kaifun...hmm (just a joke people...I'm pretty sure Hikaru and Kaifun never had a love child of any sort....and I'll kill the first person who writes a fan-fic about it!! ) <_<
  8. I'm with Noel on this one. I bought an el-cheapo Badger 350 and an inexpensive compressor from Wal-Mart (Campbell-Haufield) Even for a beginner like me, it has been terrifically easy to use the Badger. It was simply amazing to me to see the difference as opposed to trying to hand-brush or use spray cans! I paid forty dollars for the Badger and it is probably the best forty bucks I have ever invested in anything! Melissa
  9. I'd sell my mother-in-law for a Yamato Angel Birds VF-1A! Melissa
  10. Ewww! ....Nooooo <_< Sorry...But am I the only one who doesn't like Escaflowne? Melissa
  11. Thanks for sharing the link! Always good to see another SC fan. Can you tell me where they found these scans? Thanks, Melissa
  12. Does anyone know the answer to this one? Gosh, I hope so! If it does, no way will I be able to resist this PG! If it doesn't, I may not get it since I am really running out of room. So, for me...the more gimmicky the better!
  13. I don't know about HK myself, but I do know that a MW member sells those neat little display stands. (There is a thread about it in the for sale section of the old MW forums) He also mentioned he would have some more for sale in September. They are great little stands! Hope this helps. And BTW, if you PM him.....remember that it's s i t h l o r d ..with a space between each letter! Melissa
  14. Can someone with photoshop skills do a pic of the low-viz with armor the same color as the gunpod and the missles? Just wondering what it would look like! Thanks, Melissa
  15. Can you PM me what's wrong with the Hasegawa kit? me too, whats wrong with it? Well, I can't field all the answers as to what is wrong with the kit..but, here is what I know: Hasegawa just re-used one of their older molds for this F-14. As such, besides some inaccuracies that I can't point out..the model has the following problems: It is an F-14A...NOT an F-14D like Shin and Edgar pilot in M0. And, the kiss of death for this kit: raised panel lines. That is right folks..no engraved panel lines. To make it look decent you need to sand and rescribe the lines. NoThankYou! So, stay away from it unless you just want to spend the money for those M0 decals in the kit...or you have a lot more time and talent to spend on this model than I do... Any other experts want to point out the other flaws with this kit? ...I know I missed some..
  16. I'll do a search while I am at work tomorrow. Although I don't remember seeing any comparison pics/drawings yet. That is why I can't wait for Hasegawa to release their 1/72 VF-0! If that comes out, it would be nice if we could convince WM Cheng to build one and shoot pics of it with one of his Hase VF-1's! That would be a really good way to do a comparison! (That or wait for Yamato to release an M0 toy! ) ...unless I can find some pics!
  17. The OVA Macross Dynamite 7. It even has yellow trim just like his VF-17 from the series.
  18. Yep, we saw a picture of the kit in Noel's report from Wonderfest. Of course, it is the same as the previous Hase VF-22S...just molded in a different color. Doesn't really matter since you are going to paint it anyway. BTW, does the existing VF-22 kit have decals for Milia's as well? Mine is buried under a mountain of boxes or I would check for myself... I will still get this one of course. Or at least two more of the previous VF-22 kits so that I can make Max, Milia's, and Gamlins VF-22's...
  19. hey weltall where'd you get that cool stand for that 1/48 in fighter mode???? Yeah it's the stand for Unicron, It ain't as sturdy as sithlord's but i'm not worried. I've heard conflicting reports about this stand. As an owner, can you tell us just how sturdy it is? I have been thinking of picking one up at BBTS but I don't want one of my valks or poor Unicron himself tumbling off of my shelf! Just wondering if it is worth a buy! Thanks, Melissa
  20. HAH! You wouldn't say that if you saw the head from one of my Roy VF-1's. It looks awful...I killed the poor thing! Somone really needs to start a thread with some good tips on the best ways of applying putty. I am afraid I have a tendency to "overapply" it in places....
  21. On that note, anyone know when the Milia VF-22S is coming out? Just curious!
  22. Straight from the compendium, folks. Thanks Radd! I am not sure how I missed that bit! That definetly answers my questions! I really need to learn to be more patient and read everything before asking a stupid question! Thanks!
  23. Sorry for the flip message title, but this is a serious question that has been on my mind for quite a few days. Namely the larger size of the VF-0 (Length overall: 18.69m) versus the airframe size of the VF-1 (Length overall: 14.23m) So, here is my question: Is there any advantage in having a small (or large, for that matter) aircraft? And another question on the subject: Why is the VF-0 so much larger than the VF-1? Does it have anything to do with accomodating it's conventional engines? What think? Help me out aircraft experts! Thanks, Melissa
  24. Ewww! Maybe I should get it just to keep my multi-colored Devestator bootleg company! <_< How awful!
  25. ROFL. I love that statement. Vostok 7 I hope no one PRACTICES that statement... my eyes are watering just *thinking* bout it ugh......... OMG, I am really slow today! I just caught that allusion! Heh!
