  1. I swear, half of the time I look at the pictures of this project, I think they're actual plastic models, and not CG!
  2. I may be wrong, but wasn't Mospeada's popularity hurt by it having a bad, early Sunday morning timeslot? Or am I mistaking that from another series?
  3. Ah yes, the good old, Iserlohn vs Geiersberg battle. I have a lot of catching up to do on Legend of the Galactic heroes. I've only seen the first 2 seasons.
  4. With all those ships, nothing survives long enough to run low on fuel or even have a chance to make a run for it.
  5. I wish that store was around in May when I was there. If it was, I wonder how I could have missed it.
  6. I'd get them just for the fact that they are fairly rare. This is actually the first time I even heard of film comics for Mospeada.
  7. Yes, I still plan on buying the DVDs. Even with its flaws, I still like Destiny enough to warrant buying the DVDs.
  8. What? I'm in the minority again? Yes, Destiny wasn't perfect, but it still didn't prevent me from liking it. Sure, it could have been better, but it also could have gone, much, much worse.
  9. The closest I've seen to a full-size Gundam is a life-size upper body of the RX-78 Gundam at the Bandai Museum in Tokyo.
  10. Because I'm such a merchandise whore, I'll be buying the DVDs. I'm a sucker that way.
  11. Eh, despite its flaws I still like GSD. Then again, I've never been a very picky person to begin with.
  12. I remember the OVA for Ariel, but never watched it. All I remember is that it three girls that piloted a giant robot named Ariel that looked like a woman.
  13. It's definitely time to start tracking down the raws to at least get caught up with the series. As far as I know, Aquarion hasn't been licensed yet. Mahou seems to be slow on all of their subtitling projects.
  14. I'm still waiting for mine, but they could still arrive today if they were shipped by UPS. I don't even remember how they said it was being shipped. If it is through UPS, they don't deliver to where I live until around 6-7 pm.
  15. Do bands named after science fiction characters count? Two bands that come to mind are T'pau, named after a Star Trek character, and Duran Duran named from a chracter in Barbarella.
  16. Only 1 for me since they tend to be fairly expensive.
  17. Despite it being an EVA clone, I actually enjoyed Argentosoma. I certainly wasn't expecting it to end the way it did.
  18. It would have an awesome if this game came out in May when I was in Japan. With any luck, though, I may be in Japan again this coming spring. I will definitely look for this game if I do go.
  19. Yeah, I found it like 5 minutes after my post. They just didn't seem to list it on the page with everything else. I found it by searching.
  20. Looks like they are out of Southern Cross as I didn't see it in the list. Doesn't suprise me, though, at a price of $15!
  21. The moment I heard about clutches blowing in Lancer Evolutions in even lower than 3k miles I had to laugh. Then I started wondering why the hell Mitsubishi would put such a powerful engine in such a small car and not have a clutch that was strong enough to handle it.
  22. It's definitely on my must-buy list!
  23. Isn't this typical!! Now that Nanashi-fansubs has episodes 10 and 11 of of Eureka 7, the site decides it wants to go down. I knew I should have started downloading them the moment I saw them on Wednesday night.
  24. Here's another one that I always hear: Myth: In the Japanese version of Macross, they show the two technicians actually seeing blood on the seat of Roy's cockpit. Source: Fans of Robotech who swore they saw said scenes when watching the original versions or, in unedited versions of Robotech Truth: We never, ever see blood on Roy's seat. The scene only shows the reactions of the technicians to what they saw inside of Roy's cockpit.
  25. Sadly, the print run that my Macross Gold Book came from did not include the film strip. From what I've heard years ago, only the first print edition included the film strip.
