    After seeing the Kissdum preview, I'm definitely interested in seeing this series! If the rest of this show is as promising as its preview, it'll hold me over until the new Macross.

    The Discovery Channel used to show Top Gear about 2 years ago. It has since disappeared from the network's line-up, howver. I think it may be shown on BBC America, which, as fate would have it, is not carried by my cable provider.

    Going off topic for a moment. Actually, it's pretty obvious how Aries is fatally wounded. She had the supports for the Bird Human's head collapse on top of her, probably causing massive internal injuries. I may be no doctor, but I would assume that a punctured lung caused her to cough up blood just before she dies.

    Grats on your first new car, Lightning! I fondly remember my first brand newcar , a 1992 Nissan Sentra. Funny how I always seem to come across quite a few manual transmission cars that lack tachometers, yet see dozens of automatics with them. Wouldn't you need a tach with a manual more than you'd need one on an automatic?

    If I remember correctly, Dangaioh was the third or fourth anime that I ever watched. I recently revisited my old vhs copies of it and found that I enjoyed it as much as I did back in the late 80s. Cross fight! Dangaoih!!

    I finally picked myself up a Wii late this afternoon. I went to Best Buy hoping to buy the Gunbuster DVD box, which they didn't have. Just out of curiosity, I went over to where the Wiis were just to see if they had any. To my suprise, there was about a dozen Wiis sitting on the shelf. You know what I walked out of the store with!

    Yes, it is! I went last year and had a really good time. It's more of an industry event than a fan event, so expect to see a lot of materials on currently running or future works.

    Macross 2036 is definitely not cannon. Unlike both Digital Mission games and M3, 2036 and its sequel, Eternal Love Song, are not mentioned anywhere in the official timeline. Also, the events in Macross 2036 conflict with those mentioned in the chronology. In 2036 and Eternal Love Song, Kamjin is still alive, the VF-1 is still the main fighter for the UN Spacy, and the VF-4 is the fighter of elite pilots.

    You especially don't want to go to Japan during the first weekend in May. Golden Week as it's called is one of if not the biggest holiday times in Japan.

    If you're talking about getting from the airport to the hotel, the easiest way to go is via Limousine Bus. The bus takes you to most major hotels and it's not too expensive. The bullet trains have seating just like an airplane cabin, so there is no need for standing.

    You shouldn't have any adverse affects running both wireless and ethernet at the same time. I've had both running on my laptop at the same time and didn't notice anything adverse happening. I still have yet to determine if one overrode the other or if they were both working at them same time.

    So true! In fact, when I went last March, I did just that and happened to catch the third Zeta Gundam movie.

    Don't forget, manga and books are kind of heavy, so they tend to weigh quite a bit much even in small quantities.

    Mitaka is my choice if I was ever lucky enough to get to live in Japan! I fell in love with that area whe I visited the Ghibli museum this past March.

    While I don't live in a city, I do live in a pretty heavily-populated area. There's a nuclear powerplant about 10 miles from me. What's to say that the giant tuna wasn't at a fish market or aboard a fishing boat?
