    I don't know if anyone has seen this, they had an interview today with the pilot from the F-18 crash in Canada: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/38752427#38752427 The only injuries he received were compression fractures in his spine. He's expected to have a complete recovery and should be flying again in a month or so.

    LEGO may not have some of the custom pieces to do the dropship, but the instructions look like they could be easily modified to use with LEGO.

    Another fairly well-known seiyuu from Macross is Hiromi Tsuru, who played Kim. Some of her other roles were Madoka Ayukawa from Kimagure Orange Road, Lufy from Gall Force, and Bulma from Dragon Ball.

    I did forget to mention that I listen to Macross music in the car all of the time. There's actually a few tracks that I'll turn the volume way up when they come up in my music rotation.

    Perhaps the F-22 is actually out-climbing the F-15. Plus, it also looks like the F-22 has a greater angle of attack than the F-15.

    I'd have to say my nerdiest Macross moment is my current project of watching the original TV series on the days/months (depending on whether the time line gives specific dates or not) that the episodes take place. I only hope that I can live to 2059 when I can watch Frontier on the episode dates, since the time line actually gives the exact date that the episode takes place. Much to my amusement, I found that Frontier episodes 6 and 7 take place on May 1, 2059, which would be my 89th birthday. Actually, from what I've read, rolling the windows down might actually be worse than using the AC, depending on the vehicle you drive.

    I got the GN-X kit int he mail today. I actually wasn't expecting it to get here this quickly!

    I just ordered the next addition to my Gundam model collection, the Master Grade GN-X from Gundam 00. It should be arriving sometime in the middle of the week. While it's not a Gundam model, I also ordered Brera Stern's VF-27.

    That makes me sad. At least my current car was pretty easy to find as a manual. I guess it was a good thing that Sentra SE-R SpecVs are pretty easy to find.

    I find it weird that the car costs an extra $1000 for the manual transmission. Are there that many automatics out there that they're now cheaper to manufacture than manuals?

    I must be blind, but I can't see you in the picture Gubaba despite looking over it several times! Call me crazy, but I'm thinking of actually trying to take my Fukuoka trip sometime this August, despite knowing from experience how hot and humid Japan can be during then.

    I'm sold! I'm a bit sad that only the good guy mechs are playable. I'd love to be able to use the SV-51 and VF-27.

    Glad to see that the pilot was able to make it out in time and to hear that there were no injuries on the ground. I hope the pilot's injuries are not too serious.

    Great job, there, Mr March! The only question I have is whether or not the VF-1j is supposed to have TV series-style hands or is that one of the things that you need to fine tune?
