    The detail in the renders are absolutely stunning! I love how the rear-view mirrors on the sides of the main monitor actually reflect the pilot's seat. This is truly an amazing piece of work!

    Since I had a Best Buy giftcard, I broke down and bought Hot Shots Golf for my Vita. That, and Tactics Ogre should keep me occupied until Gravity Rush comes out. I'm actually pretty surprised about how many people in my area own the Vita.

    I'll definitely be buying the blurays for this. Anyone have any idea if we'll be lucky enough for the discs to have English subtitles on them? With or without, I will be buying them.

    I wouldn't mind seeing the original Macross series reanimated using modern animation, but only if they kept the entire story intact. It's kind of strange how people here don't seem to mind that they're doing a new version of the original Space Battleship Yamato, but seem to object to a new version of the original Macross.

    Just noticed that the design for the new Gamilas triple-deck aircraft carrier looks suspiciously like an Uraga-class carrier from Macross!

    I'll finally start builing my MG FA Unicorn tomorrow. Can't think of a better way to spend my day off tomorrow.

    I got my Vita yesterday. My only disappointment with it is that the one game that I really want, Gravity Rush doesn't come out until the end of May. I'm still on the fence on if I want to get one of the other games that came out with the system. Until then, there's still a few PSP games that I can play to keep me occupied.

    They call it Bodacious Space Pirates because that's what the official English title as set by the studio actually is. It actually shows up right on the title logo, even on the Japanese broadcast.

    To this day I regret not being able to buy one of those Artmic Design Works books back in the day when it was affordable.

    Money was saved this weekend, as none of the Katsucon dealers had the MG Duel Gundam. I only wound up with the MG Full Armor Unicorn Gundam. The price was only $105, which is probably around what I'd be paying if I ordered it from HLJ or one of the other mail order places.

    I heard that the Robotech panel at Katsucon on friday had a whopping two dozen people show up. I was actually planning on going, but wound up getting to the convention after it had already ended. I wanted to actually hear the non-news in person just so that I could have a good laugh!

    I'm sure that we'll probably see a model of it, probably at the 1/550 scale that they've used for their other mobile armor kits, altough it would be nice if they did a 1/220 scale it.

    I finally got to get my hands on a Vita demo machine today. I'm definitely happy that I decided to pre-order. My only little complaint is that the circle, x, square, and triangle buttons are a bit on the small side. They're still quite usable, however, so I don't thik that there'll be a problem using them.

    It's more of what Oihan said. Most often the problem is the fact that a lot of shows are based off of on-going manga and always seem to catch up to the manga. For whatever reason, they seem to prefer making up their own endings instead of just putting the show on hiatus until there's more manga to work with. Either that, or in the cases with things like Naruto and Bleach, they tend to make throw away filler episodes.

    Neither Nora's SV-51 nor Brera's VF-27 were purple. Both fighters were a very dark redish-pink.

    My question is, which battleship is it? Will they go with one of the actual Iowa-class names, or will they use a totally different state name?

    Moretsu Pirates is most definitely my favorite anime of this season and could very well become one of my all-time favorites. While for some the pacing may be a little slow, I think the show is handling everythng perfectly.

    While no release date has been given for either the Japanese or US release (assuming there is one), I was sold on the Vita when I saw the announcement for Ys IV. No region lock was also a big influencing feature.
