    I'm trying to remember which actually came first, the movie or the manga. I think the manga was adapted from the movie, but I'm not 100% sure. The manga's version of Aerobot was definitely much better looking than its movie counterpart.

    Yes, Mandarake can be a very dangerous store to one's wallet. I don't think that I've spent less than $200 US any time that I've been there. Fortunately for me, I don't get to Japan too often for that to be a problem!

    This is the first new Macross game that I'll have to wait until months after its release to get. Which means that I'll probably be stuck having to get the standard edition.

    One of the things that I loved about Macross Frontier was the fact that they had giant Zentradi living peacefully among humans in the Frontier fleet. I was actually quite thrilled to see giant, Zentradi children in the scenes if Folmo Mall. Those scenes made it clear that the Zentradi were entirely capable of living peaceful existences.

    There's a part of me that actually wants this movie to get made. Just so I can laugh as it flops because everyone will think that it's a Transformers rip-off.

    Not the same idea, really, since Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, and Lamborghini cars are still sold under the same brand names regardless of where they're sold. An Audi A4 is still an Audi A4 whether you buy it in Germany or the US. This is totally unlike Nissan, for example, which sells the Skyline under the Nissan brand in Japan, but sells it as the G37 now soon to be Q50) under the Infiniti brand.

    Am I the only one that wishes that Toyota, Nissan, and Honda would just get rid of the Lexus, Infiniti, and Acura brands and sell their cars under their real company names?

    Yeah, despite knowing the importance of stealth in modern military aviation, the old, unstealthy fighters of the 60s-80s will always look a million times cooler than the modern stealth designs!

    I actually love the Frontier designs myself. However, the original VF-1, particularly the Strike variant from DYRL, will always be my favorite. My second favorite is most definitely the SV-51. Seems that I'm one of the few that really love this variable fighter.

    Guess it just shows how well I actually remember Resurrection! Still, even if there is anti-American sentiment in the film, I'm really not bothered by it.

    I did. Other than using the Knights of the Round/mimic combo, I don't remember much of the fight. While I don't remember exactly how long it took me, but Yiazmat actually wasn't too hard for me considering that all of my characters were at level 95+.

    Heh, I found 12 to be Balthier's story to me! At least you guys aren't complaining about 12's combat system, like so many others do. I actually liked the system myself. XII and XIII are the only 2 Final Fantasy games that I've played both Japanese and North American releases of.

    I found FF VIII to be the worst of the series for me. I never finished it, nor have the desire to. There are a few that I still haven't played yet (I, II, V, IX), but do plan on getting to them eventually. The linearity of XIII never bothered me, personally. To me, it actually made sense considering that the character were on the run during most of the games.
