  1. Finally, I'm sitting down and watching Legend of the Galactic Heroes in its entirety. In the past, I'd only seen up to the mid-30s. I'm still missing the last 26 episodes, though.
  2. I'd actually want to see something that takes place during the huge gap that is 2013-2039. That's a whole almost 30 years that's only been given a few scant mentions in the Macross timeline.
  3. It's really weird seeing Gundam models in my local Barnes & Noble!
  4. Thanks, Gubaba! I didn't think to try and go to the actual website instead of using the app. It's a little disappointing that they yet to have new content for Macross The First. At least now I won't have to wait for the tankoubon to see the new chapters when they do come out.
  5. Why do I get the feeling that we're not going to be able to access untranslated manga on the Comic Walker app here in North America?
  6. That's where you're wrong! I actually liked Zero more than I did Plus.
  7. We know that this new series will be out before HG releases anything for Robotech!
  8. There is no Mospeada movie. If you mean Love, Live, Alive, it's more of a music video than it is a movie.
  9. I just started rewatching Aura Battler Dunbine earlier this evening. Since I'm only 5 episodes in, things are pretty tame. I can't wait until I get to the part where the bodies begin to pile up!
  10. I can't believe that I didn't see this news until today! Macross fan fail!
  11. I've never seen so many different places responsible for the various parts of that Delahaye! It looks like it was for sale in NJ at some point in time!
  12. I've had the original soundtrack for X ever since the game was released, so I know the soundtrack practically by heart, which is why I noticed the difference right from the start. I spent something like 100+ hours on blitzball my first run through and will probably spend the same amount of time this playthrough as well. I'll probably level my characters to max like I did last time, too. What can I say, I find this game to be very addicting!
  13. I just bought the regular edition of FF-X/X2 HD. My only real complaint with the new version is the remixed soundtrack.
  14. I'm rather ashamed to admit it, but I actually ran out of time in the normal mode of Lightning Returns and had to start over.
  15. Just wait until you get around to the middle of the series! One of the things that I really got a kick out of was the fact that the voice of the Dominators is played by Noriko Hidaka!
  16. And nobody will care!
  17. I really hate to admit it, but I'm finding Lightning Returns hard enough on normal that I may just quit and start over on easy. Normally, I'd grind in a game like this to over-level myself and power through, but with the game's time-based play, this isn't an option.
  18. I doubt it will be a slow moving target. I'm quite sure that it'll have enough thrusters to more than compensate for its increased mass.
  19. Not necessarily. Do You Remember Love? could still just be a Minmay song. All that having DYRL as movie within the Macross universe means is that the title song was just one of her regular songs instead of the one that saved humanity.
  20. Threre's also a very large retro-arcade in Chicago called The Galloping Ghost. They also have Cobra Command, but it wasn't up and running when I was there during this past June. That arcade also has the DYRL game. Red Bank, NJ also has a retro-arcade, Yestercades, but it's nowhere near as big as The Galloping Ghost or American Classic Arcade Museum.
  21. That last arcade is down in Point Pleasant in Ocean County. It doesn't have Cobra Command anymore, though. I hope that I didn't confuse you there. I only meant that it was the only arcade that's still around, not the only arcade to have the game.
  22. After hearing everyone raving about Brave Default, I broke down and bought both the game and a 3DS XL. I actually got lucky and found the system on sale at Target for $175.
  23. Believe it or not, Cobra Command was in quite a few arcades down by me. I can think of about five arcades in my area that had the game. What's really sad is that out of those five, only one of those arcades is still open. All the others are long gone.
  24. I see I'm not the only one that was confused by Keith! Yeah, totally uninterested in this box set.
