So I've been considering buying a VF-25S V.2 Ozma Armored Messiah and I'm seeing the price for these as $600 shipped. Is it always going to cost this much or are these people just being wallet rapists? What's a fair price for this? Is the V.2 that much better than a V.1 if I'm just gonna throw it in a display case? How much do V.1's usually run? I'm pretty new to this and I don't want to feel molested as I'm hitting the "send money" button.

I got to see a few episodes of Robotech in the mid 1980's. I was hooked. Then I moved to England and the first day I was there I was handed the green Alpha. I'd never seen it before and had no idea what it was supposed to look like so I failed at transforming it (this still haunts me to this day). I never saw anything Robotech again until I saw a Roy Fokker super posable in a comic book store in the mid 2000's. Never saw anything else for sale until I looked at Evil Bay one day in mid 2011 and holy hell, there's tons of it. So I bought a Ben Dixon MPC. I ripped that cardboard box open and saw the most amazing toy I'd ever seen. It was like crack. I had to have another. Then I noticed that Macross wasn't just the name of an island but and entirely different story. It was then I discovered this site and Any Moon and realized how much my MPC's sucked. After that I watched DYRL and all the original Macross cartoons and just finished Macross Frontier. I'm really disappointed that it only took 25 years to find this stuff again. I try showing this to my friends (a bunch of door kicking military alpha males) and they just look at me like I'm retarded. It doesn't matter though, I like the community here and love the toys and cartoons.

So I went to your Youtube Channel and just watched DYRL for the first time........and it was AWESOME. Thanks for all the work you and your team put into this project. I tried watching it once before and it had 4 layers of subtitles on the screen and it ruined everything so I quit watching about 10 minutes in. Anyways, I'm gonna go have some dogfights between my VF-1's and Battle Pods now (insert flying noises here). Thanks again.

I concur with his sageness. Being out of the country for the last 10+ years was interesting but what is even more interesting is 10+ years of Robotech and Macross stuff to catch up on. I'm going full retard here trying to figure out what to get.

What's the difference between Yamato's and Bandai's Queadluun toy? They look similar in pics but I haven't found anything solid so I figured I'd ask all the legendary folks here on MW.
