I refuse to panic buy. I'll get what I want if it becomes available for a reasonable price. If I had the money to purchase every valk I wanted right this second I probably wouldn't do it (Disclaimer: There would be a few I'd pick up right away). Chasing these things down is half the fun of collecting.

I really wish I could find those for a good price, but $400 is waaaaay to much for me. Is there any difference in them and the DYRL 1/48's besides the head sculpts?

I could be wrong but I think the 1/48's just changed paint schemes and not the mold when it came to the differences between TV and DYRL. Look out! He's going for the kill shot! On a side note, why does Hikaru's VF-1S have Roy's heat shield?

I recommend what Kicker does. He pulls out the trays and stacks them. Collapses the cardboardboxes and it saves a ton of room.

I tend to focus on a particular set, for instance I'm after Mac Plus stuff right now. However if a great buy comes a long then I'll probably hop on that. As for what scale, I decided to go for 1/48 for DYRL since it was more widely available and cheaper than 1/60 at the time and I'll be doing my SDFM in 1/60.

I totally didn't put that together. Did you start off with a level 1 Shep or did you run through with a high level one?
