    Thanks coronadlux. I tried pushing the Macross angle but he's a full on Trekkie. Apparently there's no cure for this affliction except the loving touch of a willing woman. Poor guy, there really is no hope.

    So I got a buddy that has no modelling experience but wants to pick up a Star Trek model. Anyone got any recommendations for a beginner?

    I played that Lego Marvel demo and it looks like the best Lego game to date. Daughter loved it too. The controller scheme was easy enough for a 5 year old to manage to include the flying characters.

    I agree. Instead of chucking it, why didn't you ask if anyone had any extra parts? I have a broken Alpha I really don't care about and the hips are fine.

    Check out flightpose.com. There are reports of issues with the tips against paint but nothing major. There's a thread around here somewhere.

    The flightpose stands can hold 1/48 no problem. I even had mine posed quite dynamically. Deadeye, great pose on the 1S and your display is so simple and clean. Saburo, that's a great start to a collection. I want quite a few of those valks.
