  1. Not according to Amazon.jp...
  2. Amazon.jp says it's already in stock, and can be delivered Wednesday.
  3. My God, that's an absurdly large head.
  4. Who's ass did they pull the "22" designation out of?
  5. Ah, found it. https://p-bandai.jp/item/item-1000140758/ Man, that site's a nightmare to navigate.
  6. You sure about that?
  7. The original design philosophy for the animation was discussed -- the function of the FAST packs, their mounting points, direction of thrust, etc.
  8. Is that because Stick sounds more disappointed by his engine failure than he does by the death of his fiancée? No wait... he thinks she may still be alive?! Thanks for sharing that. It's sure weird to hear a completely different cast, but from the same pool of Robotech voice actors. Roy Fokker as Stick Bernard? Lisa Hayes as the Invid Regis? That dub sure uses some strange collective nouns, too... "Earthians?" "Rejioss?" And where did "Randy Barr" come from? And I could've sworn, as he coverts the Legioss-Tread to Armo-Diver for atmospheric reentry, he says "I'll trim the main nozzle down." The writers must've been confused by the translation.
  9. You mean, after decades of preposterous explosions a collision wouldn't cause, Hollywood has produced an action film where a collision doesn't cause the explosion it would?
  10. Oh, if only they had the atmospheric booster as well...
  11. Why not tertiary characters? Nameless pilots? Unidentified Zentradi?
  12. No way is that a 1:6 scale figure. 1:12, maybe... but I don't have any Power Rangers, so I can't be certain. Maybe you meant to say "a 6-inch figure?"
  13. In City Urban Camouflage GBP armor, yes.
  14. Still not good enough for me. I'm not biting unless it looks like this:
  15. Sounds about right to me.
  16. The film opens on Friday here in Japan. The Japanese distributors, in their infinite wisdom, have decided the English title is too dark. They're calling it "Terminator: New Fate."
  17. I have designed decals based on the old Imai model kit illustrations, if they'd be of any use... 600dpi files, available upon request.
  18. Congratulations, @TangledThorns! I freaked out a few kids (and the landlady) with my classroom decorations...
  19. Strong Man is definitely the biggest of Magic Square's "minibots," but certainly not CHUG scale...
  20. It's simple; profit from merchandise based on existing designs goes to Lucasfilm, but profits from merchandise based on (at least 25%) new designs goes directly to Disney. That's why bizarre little meaningless changes have been made to the X-Wings, A-Wings, TIE Fighters, etc. to make them legally distinct from the older designs. It's even, apparently, why C-3PO inexplicably sported that ridiculous red arm.
  21. My favorite example is Planet of the Apes from 1968, that depicted interstellar flight... in 1972! Mankind hadn't even gotten to the moon, but they believed they'd be on their way to Orion's Belt within four years...?
