There is another option for you to consider, my friend... ...if you have no moral objection to unlicensed third-party knock-offs, that is.- 17919 replies

I'm happy to report Kidz Concept and Sentinel seem to be on the same page when it comes to Robotech figure scale.

Got my Minmei, and couldn't wait to open her up. For those of you who may object to the $50 price tag, consider all the display options she presents: She can rock out like Janis Joplin... Ride a skateboard like a pro... Teach Tony Stark a lesson in feminine empowerment... ...and photobomb like only a teenage girl can. Heck, she can even kick Thanos' ass and save the universe! I'm just glad they thought to include the action figure stand, 'cause everybody's gonna want to reproduce Minmei's famous Flying Kick pose, right? Right? I actually prefer this pose, though. P.S. For those of you viewing this post from the privacy of your own home, and you perverts who insist on checking under the hood...

Link works fine for me -- both from the desktop and from my smartphone -- and has since it was posted. Looks like the problem's on your end, kajnrig.

As a prequel series with direct ties to The Force Awakens, Resistance could help flesh out and legitimatize the sequel trilogy just as the Clone Wars series helped flesh out and legitimatize the prequel trilogy... ...if it's anywhere near as good, of course. Cautiously optimistic about this one.

Bubblegum Crisis OVA Blu-ray Direct Release

They were? They must look awful in HD... -
MASSIVE reshoots. Like, over half the film. The remake of Stephen King's It turned out to be a big hit, so the studio decided to make New Mutants a straight-up horror film. http://collider.com/x-men-dark-phoenix-new-mutants-release-date-delay-explained/#fox

"HLJ and Anime-Export were the ones that received broken antennae," you mean. Middlemen retailers have no control over how Bandai packages their product, of course. I'm sure you didn't mean to suggest otherwise, but be careful with your English syntax!

Wow, the yellow and orange don't match AT ALL. This will require a complete repaint. Apples and oranges, man, but here you are:- 17919 replies

We might as well lock down the thread for a while. The film's still more than a year away from release, and it'll be months before we have any actual news to discuss anyway.

Bubblegum Crisis OVA Blu-ray Direct Release

All the live-action footage was shot and edited on standard-definition video, so a horrible upscale would be the best you could hope for. -
Well, I suppose the Yamato YF-21 could use a little more tampo... it looks rather plain and toyetic next to the DX YF-19 (even with the most egregious markings removed).

Seems pretty solid to me. I can't compare it to the Advance, but it's a lot more secure than the ol' Yammie, that's for sure. Is that in reference to the fuel filter?

I removed the offending white paint with Mr. Color lacquer thinner. Surprisingly, it had little effect on the black paint underneath... However, the black stripes required repainting anyway, since there was no black paint underneath the white UN Spacy lettering. Still, simple enough to remove and repaint without any sanding required. Here she is next to the old Yammie:

That's called "damning with faint praise." But it's true, the Evolution Toy is (unfortunately) the best Legioss toy yet produced.

Ah, but his commentary is frustratingly repetitive. He says the same things over and over again, and takes forever to get to the point of what he wants to say. Even by Japanese standards, it's infuriating. Still, he makes the transformation look relatively easy, and I had no more trouble getting it to battroid than he did. And the battroid mode is fabulous. Having fixed the offensive tampo on the wings, I'm now completely satisfied with the figure, and may order a second while they're still available at retail rates. I have no QC issues, no objections to the design or execution of the figure, and nothing to complain about. But that may have a lot to do with my expectations... See, I've never handled or even seen the VF-19 Advance, nor the Arcadia YF-19, so my expectations are largely based on the two Yamato releases I own. Those versions are far less accurate, far too simplistic, and far too lacking in detail to satisfy in any mode. Consider this simple comparison: Bandai's new release didn't break on me when I tried to transform it; no pieces came flying off as I handled it; nothing was loose or floppy; and the product doesn't feel cheap or hollow. Furthermore, comments like onnasake's led me to expect a much more difficult and frustrating experience than I had with the figure, thus it has pretty much exceeded all my expectations... and I've barely begun to experiment with all the accessories and display options available. I absolutely love this toy!

The Batcave diorama is mostly repurposed parts from the TMNT "Secret Sewer Lair" playset, with some Ubiquitous extensions and other miscellaneous accessories... oh, and a repainted DST Alfred.

No, it's not really an issue. The arms compress properly; they just don't hold their positions very securely. Since the Zeta came with little Dark Mospeada ride armor, will the Dark Legioss come with little Bartley ride armor?
