  1. Nice!! i didn't realize the Angel Birds had the TV version head!! Which scale is that?
  2. Nice. but im not familiar with the character.
  3. The Hegemon isn't meant to be in scale with MP-10. It's designed to be in scale with G1 Megatron, almost exact size. But he looks good with some other lines. http://www.seibertro...nd-price/23654/ . medg n dconorng.bmp
  4. Oh ok. Interesting. I didn't go for the LE version. I doubt the PS1 will be able to top the magnificence of Ultimate Frontier on PSP. But that is a good incentive, i totally missed that on the list.
  5. oh.. wow.... Predaking is one of the few G1 toys i never had... The original Predacons done properly.... i may have to bite on this. But only if he is atleast 12" tall combined. Always hated how small the G1 combiners were. I hope it hits in 2013, cuz 2012 has my collecting money spent. Between Voltron Classics, Masterpiece TF's, Metal Gear Rex & 30th Macross...
  6. WORD? Where is this other better translation at? I didn't know there were multiple efforts of translating this.
  7. PS1?? There giving the old PS1 game as a download in addition the the PS3 DYRL version (upgraded PSP port) ???
  8. Good question. The last Frontier BD/PS3 combo wasn't region locked. Infact i don't recall importing anything for PS3/Blu Ray that was ever locked.
  9. Indeed. And i commend the third party companies, because, for years, Hasbro acted like they had no interest in putting out Thundercracker. Which is absurd... but regardless, at least they are finally paying attention.
  10. An earth related story where humans went back to their old habits & started fighting each other. Then we can see more in-atmosphere Valk on Valk dogfights like those teased in Zero & Plus. Then maybe half-way thru the series some new threat emerges..... and instead of a love triangle soap opera, maybe an actual threesome this time.... just joking....
  11. Quite refreshing. But is the FIRST considered the new canon or just another dramatic retelling? I don't mind retellings. I'm just disturbed when the various series that follow only reference the retold aspects instead of the original. So if we get a new Macross series that takes place after Frontier, & they only the reference the much different events from the 2 Frontier movies & ignore various details & events from the original 25 episodes, i'd feel a bit cheated.... again.
  12. Well technically the SDF war is already over. It's 2012: aka Megaroad One/ VF-4 timeframe. So Prometheus isn't really out of date. It's one of the few ships we can somewhat relate too in real-life. Its' basically like a modified Nimitz class carrier. And it always helped me appreciate the scale of the Macross. If you have an aircraft carrier as your forearm..... Daedalus was a big box, but also a semi- submersible attack landing craft full Destroid squadrons. I'll take both of those over an ARMD platform any day.
  13. Indeed. It's very refreshing to see classic mecha & characters in new footage & different mediums. But sadly we never got to see or acknowledge Daedalus attack ever again... And ever series after DYRL refuses to accept Prometheus & Daedalus as critical parts of the SDF-1. What's even funnier is that DYRL is a in-canon movie....
  14. Isn't that the intro to one of the PS1 games? Explaining what happened to Prometheus, thus justifying the SDF-1 actually docking with the ARMD's in lunar orbit? I still kind of hate that DYRL just rewrote so much SDF history for later media.
  15. Slighty O.T... Does anyone know how tall the 1/72 VF-25 kits are in battroid?
  16. So is this just game just the reformatted levels from the DYRL stages in Ultimate frontier with upgraded graphics? I see Hikaru's VF-1A has the same special attack; the stages previewed look similar. Even the enemy missions. I wonder how many trophies will it have?
  17. some more Destroid love... because there doesn't seem to be very much of it... I don't understand the hate on the matchboxes. Atleast they gave us almost every model in a similar scale. For the price they clean up rather nice.
  18. As far as displaying at work, i'd be more concerned about the co-workers on other shifts messing with my stuff or the cleaning crew knocking something down. Unless you have your own office that is locked after you leave, i wouldn't risk it.
