Mallet Superstar!! Mine is already waiting, terrorized on what might happen in a few days. Edit: hail to veef-bob the builder coming with a new item!
-
My order went to production, I'll let you know how the pairs (new one) are working as soon as I receive them and have time to give you info (in a week or so) ;-)
-
Thank you so much veef You 've been very kind to provide us this piece. I think many of the community owe you a big one. Thanx again! ...and again.

... Running round in my box at the office, hands risen, shouting like a kid, bumping everywhere (yes, it's a tiny box) . I hope they'll be ok for "mass" prod.

Yamato 1/60 VF-17 Nightmare Diamond Force
Loute replied to charger69's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
My bad then , I just understood how it transforms (thanx anyway ). I think I shouldn't interfere when the adults talk. It's already late here, I'm off to sleep, I'll ben in for better interventions tomorrow . D'night all -
Yamato 1/60 VF-17 Nightmare Diamond Force
Loute replied to charger69's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
I just worked on close-ups so I'm sure I can be understood since I'm not that fluent in English but look at the two pictures: That seems odd enough to presume the canopy was removed and therefore that it's not the final release but a very advanced prototype. Maybe I'm wrong but even if the canopy goes under the chess plate, we should see a bit of it, shouldn't we? Edit: My bad otherwise. Edit 2: or does the cockpit rotates 180° between the chestplate and the fuselage section? (I'm feeling stupid, I'm not familiar with that mecha) -
Yamato 1/60 VF-17 Nightmare Diamond Force
Loute replied to charger69's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
I don't think we should worry for the colors since it looks like a final prototype, look, the canopy was taken off to allow a better transformation. I think she still needs adjustements, so the colors should be ok at the end. Maybe I'm wrong, we'll see when it's released. -
We'll I think I'll officially be poor this year too many toys to buy, that VF-1D is truly something I've been waiting for...

Super Deformed Destroids coming at Japan Wonderfestival

Clearly! Thanx for the link by the way -
Wow... It's getting hot here...

I don't know much of this company but I don't understand their marketing plans, they seem to follow what I'd call a "full-fail strategy" as if their ultimate goal was neat failure. It's rather clear that we'll never get the awesome looking: - sand GBP (regular GBP is fine too, but I prefer the "desert" one), - SuperOstrich, - ElintSeeker - Low vis VF-1A And as far as I'm concerned I feel like we'll never get the Glaug too, even Maiden got frustrated and left the company, they have gold here and do nothing with it! I think I'm going to go buy an autoCAD 2010 bible and start trying to make my own figures with the help of shapeway or whatever 3D printing company. I'm feeling a bit disappointed at Toynami ("Go, Toynami, go fullfail your destiny" ).

Super Deformed Destroids coming at Japan Wonderfestival
Loute replied to ahiachris's topic in Model kits
I think I'd definitely be in for the Glaug even at this price, I love her shape . @EXO: sorry for not posting in the right section yesterday -
As far as the VF-1x VT and VE 1/60 are concerned it doesn't seem to be a problem anymore: http://www.macrosswo...opic=36316&st=0

As said above I have no certitude as to wether it's a kit or not because my japanese is long forgotten (my english tends to go the same way ). I found it cute too so that's why I'd love to find one even unpainted. Toynami sure takes his time (much, too much time) to release its models. They have a beautiful Glaug too that I'd love to get but I heard it's still pending, they also created decent ElintSeeker and SuperOstrich (DYRL) shown a year ago but I believe we'll never see them.

Hi all, recently, I have been browsing the metalbox's site here: http://www.metal-box.jp . And found this "no-name-to-describe-the-awsomeness-damn-my-lower-jaw-fell-down-on-the-floor-GLAUG" that appears to be a 1/72 SD kit (without practising Japanese for 15 years I'm more than a bit lost). Does anyone know where this kit can be found, or if it's gonna reach the regular distribution vendors like hlj (or else I don't mind)? I fell in love with it and I guess I won't be the only one after seeing the photos, metalbox seems to be specialised in SD kits, this one costs 12000¥ : Since I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right section or if the subject has already been evocated, I leave this up to the admins but I would really love to get an answer to my questions

That's cool, can't wait to see how everything turns out

Man.. This is how I see my VF-25s Dx first edition since v2 is out: I' m gona have to buy one to avoid utter frustration...

Come on guys, Veef, created this part to help us all with our broken Valks, he never intend to take orders from anyone or build anything "superficial", we're not in a Mac(ross) Drive and we'll get some news next week. Thank him ( ) for what he is doing to the community but don't take him as a vending machine. That's what cross my mind reading some posts here I'll just add "and possibly not to pricey, let's say 50$ the whole lot with stunning details, better than Yamato's ".
-
Yes you're right, my bad. I meant a service that lasts longer. Many did not replace their hinges, thinking they were OK nor even heard about the replacement policy. I missed Graham's last pieces and so far couldn't produce decent ones on my own because of my lack of experience with resin. I'm glad VF5SS acts as a sustainable alternative.

Man, I know it's late and you probably already found out but, here, take this link: http://www.macrosswo...showtopic=36258 IScustom made a tremendous work to build out a kit that fits 1/48 VF-1x series Valks, transforming them into 1 seated VE-1. You've got to check this since it perfectly meets your expectations (but the price I guess ) I heard he is planning on releasing a 1/48 Super Ostrich kit. I wish I had his skills at modeling meshes . This should go to the topic "Auctions of great Absurdity" in my opinion, I mean ok, VE-1 rules with its akward yet unique and pretty style but still I'm far from being sure it' worth 430$ (even converted in € ) To finish with that I have and old VE-1 v1 with the side antennas gone. I'll have them redone one day (maybe not too long), I still love it that way and I don't want to morph it into Gerwalk nor Battroid, I believe its full spirit resides in the aircarft shape because of the radar. (need those antennas eventually )

I can wait 9 or more days for you to get and test your work. So far it looks fairly nice -and solid-, I'll buy lots of these to decrease the shipping impact (France) when you're happy with the results (your v1 was already nice). Just wondering, I know it's a bit early, but how will you proceed? You'll leave a link to shapeways so that we'll be able to order the parts directly from them? Or you have something else in mind? Again, nice work from you and your friend, you gave me back hope for that you have my admiration . It's just a pity that Yamato didn't do anything serious concerning that well known problem at first.

I'm in for (Edit: at least) 5 sets of 2 (10 pieces) whenever the model is ready for production, not that I need that much but that's a prevision for the future, I love those 1/60 Valks and you just resolve their main problem. I also have some friends desperately looking for those hinges. Congrats man (you made my day!)

Damn! Everything is served hot here!! :-) Thanx for the link I missed that. You're right: Fracking lucky me! *jumping in the office, everybody watching me puzzled, I don't care.
