  1. Bravo, you have done an exceptionally amazing job detailing your VF-1J. Now I'm really tempted to detail the panel lines on my VF-1J and VF-25F renewal as well
  2. If anyone missed out on the pre-orders of the VF-25F renewal, it's available again for Y11,900 at HLJ: http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN964807
  3. Thanks charger69 - that's an awesome image. Hopefully we'll see these loaded valkyries available in their new version 2.0 releases. I'm really impressed with my VF-25F (version 2), and I'm stoked to get the VF-25S a couple months ... also really really hoping Bandai comes through and has at least a 2nd production run for the YF-29 within the near future.
  4. Thanks guys for the feedback. Yea I like the YF-29, but not I'm going to pay these ridiculous prices for it. Like it's been said, hopefully Bandai goes the Yamato route and has at least a 2nd (if not more) production runs with it. That way, everyone could get it at a "reasonable" price and not have to worry about trying to buy one off eBay or some other places on the secondary market at absurd prices. I've got no problems waiting, and there's a really good chance that Bandai is going to be re-releasing some more badass valkyries from their Macross Frontier line.
  5. Do you guys think that Bandai will release a second production run of the DX YF-29? I know that I could buy it on eBay and a few other places, but the prices are $400+, which is just ridiculous. So I wanted to see if you guys think there's going to be any second production runs of this toy, or am I pretty much going to have to fork out the big $$$ to get the Bandai DX YF-29? Any input would be appreciated. I only recently (within the past couple months) had the time to get back into Macross. I'm now all caught up on all the Macross series (hadn't seen any since Macross Plus back in the '90s). I'm really amazed how awesome Macross toys have come since the early days of the Takatoku 1/55 toys to the 1/60 Yamato & renewals of the VF-25 series.
  6. Dude, that really sucks gettin' burned like that... hopefully this is only a one-time thing. I'm kinda curious where you ordered it too.
  7. Yea I've had this same frustrating experience with pre-orders at AmiAmi. They seem to always have very competitively low pre-order prices, but for what ever reason, it seems like those pre-orders are always sold out before I ever even get a chance to make and order there ... hopefully one of these days ...
  8. Awesome - thanks for the info ... damn w/ prices slashed like this, I'm kinda tempted to build my own vermillion squad
  9. The Takatoku Macross toys bring back lots of fond memories & I've been able to get a few of them. But yea, I agree w/ alchemo - the yamato 1/60 version 2.0+ VFs were what really got me to expand my collection
  10. Nice job filling in the panel lines Vegas. I'm curious what you used to get that effect? Gundam markers or an ultra-fine sharpie marker?
