    I'm as hopeful as anyone, but a while back on one of the threads (was it the 30th anniversary option parts announcement thread?), we all read a Yamato statement that they weren't going to be making them anymore. BUT, on the plus side, that doesn't mean they don't have a secret stash in a warehouse that would prevent them from selling more in the future.

    This is really the wave of the future for collectors as far as I'm concerned... replicating the super/strike parts without the internals seems entirely doable and will probably be the likeliest scenario if Yamato sticks to their guns of no reissues. Hell, they just started trying to sell us valks that most of us have already just to get our hands on a few small pieces of plastic; they're just asking to get bootlegged after that.

    Depends upon what your collection needs... unless you're talking monetary value because you're planning on selling them, then that's all between you and whoever you're selling it to.

    They haven't been made in a long time and they won't be made in the future at all according to Yamato. As a seller of one right now, I'm super reluctant to let go of probably one of the last sets of TV super parts ever made, thus the price I listed. But as 505th can attest, I'm always open to cutting deals and negotiating with folks... As far as I can see, folks have the following options regarding super/strike parts: buy at a premium or make an offer, commission someone to try reproducing the parts somehow, buy a bundled set and sell off the valk to mitigate the high cost those are going for, pray for a reissue, or sit and wait for someone on the forum to get a divorce or get fired/laid off from their job. It's not pretty, but no one ever said toy collecting was easy... lol

    Hey folks, just wondering if anyone can help me out with any advice on tightening up the SV-51 wings? My Ivanov's wings can't hold the "bent wing" position when loaded with the missiles and boosters... I was looking at the design and trying to figure out how to get to the hinge pins to thicken them up, but couldn't figure out anything. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

    I'm at 100% completion of all the 1/60 V2's I set out to collect... and this damn temptress of a valk is calling me back. Luckily my wallet is helping with the resistance efforts. =)

    I believe the small piece is to hold the legs firmer together in fighter mode for the sake of the gun pod...

    Awesome! BUT, be careful having fun with photos like that, or you could end up sparking a huge "OHMIGOD WHERE DO I PREORDER THIS!? / I don't care for this at all but I'll probably buy 10..." panic thread. MWorld is funny like that.

    Thanks Loop. I think it has become my mode of choice for the armored 25 because it just looks like an aggressive mean ass... battroid is hot too, but the balance and weight issues in that mode are kind of a joy kill and make me nervous. This thing is a total beast in the case though; I have a feeling the other Mac F valks are going to jack this guy for taking over the real estate.

    Yeah, I had them flipped around at one point for clearance purposes in my case and just never flipped them back. Theyre back to normal now.

    Is there a disassemble guide for the Q-Rau's on MW anywhere? Couldn't find one, but so far I've taken the legs apart on mine.... no idea how to take apart the upper body so I can get to painting it up for these parts.

    Received my Ozma armor set today... after installing in battroid and transforming to gerwalk, all I can say is chest armor = super part hip armor. It will not stay on for anything in gerwalk/fighter; I ended up earthquake puttying it and calling it a day.

    Seriously though, who are all these "F*ck hardpoints!!" people that necessitate 2 sets of wings? Didn't make sense to me on the hi-metal 1/100's neither... must be an internal Bandai thing.

    They never should've coined the term "First Class" at all if they knew they weren't using the Cyke, Beast, Angel, Marvel Girl, and Iceman lineup. Once I heard of the changes they were making to the classic first team for the movie, it was an instant extra $10 saved in my wallet.
